World quest dialog is INTRUSIVE and ANNOYING

Why has immersion become such a forgotten concept?

It’s especially bad in legion zones where there are so many world quests.

I just want to fly around the word without being bombarded with crappy voice acting that I’ve heard a thousand times.

Do you mean the talking heads that pop up and talk to you? If so there used to be an addon to help with that:-

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/hidetalkinghead

It would be nice if it was just a toggle in the options.

An opt in/out for world quests in old content would be nice.

Also when I decline a quest that pops up against my wishes I want it to actually DECLINE not get accepted anyway.

… like the Callings that automatically open, when you complete another Quest from the same NPC?

The voice acting is maybe bad in your opinion. However, I agree there should be a mute button for WQ Dialogues.

Actually, I think it adds immersion to the game.

The WQ’s and Bonus Objectives make it feel like there is activity in the zone.

The only reason why I don’t like the Shadowlands ones is because I hate 100% of the characters introduced.

But there’s nothing like flying through Zuldazar and Nathanos popping up and ordering you to secure the resources in the name of the Dark Lady.

That - I feel - is part of what some in WoW don’t appreciate about the genre & whine about when they encounter it… they don’t want as realistic a world as WoW can be, yet they choose to play - and stay part of - a game that is set in one.

Ive got the talking heads addon thank goodness, was so annoying

Some people want to see the World of Warcraft Burn.

And some people want to just not have a quest in the questlog when ‘decline’ is pressed. Not more not less.

Would be good to have an option to turn them off. I think there might be an add-on that does.
