I checked 1 quest before this upgrade and it was 158, after upgrade it is 168.
I’m not excited to level alts with renown in order to potentially get better world quest gear drops if thats the case. I would rather that they didn’t link renown to increasing wq ilvl. And yes, I could run dungeons/mythics etc, but since those aren’t dropping much for me anyway, its discouraging to say the least.

World quests that were giving 171-174 ilvl rewards last week (for my ilvl 184 shaman) were giving ilvl 158 items this morning. After renown 19 and “upgrade”, they were ilvl 164. Still 10 ilvl less than last week. Good job Blizzard.
(Shaman is just one example, they are bugged down on all my lvl 60 characters at the moment, but for some they have been bugged longer. Shaman was still working until this morning.)

Yeah, was puzzled by this as the gear I got was a lower ilvl than what I have… and I don’t have particularly good gear. It was lower than I was getting last week and I don’t know why either.

So, this is me saying nothing…
Today some ilvl 184 rewards appeared on the list, but still got one quest offering “too low” reward. Let’s see if this time those rewards will stay on that level or will they slowly drop back to “too low ilvl” like last time. But for this moment it looks good.
Meh, loads of gold in the calling tribute chests.
Could use a bit more here. why are the items even giving 35? it’s so low they have to give multiple items. Just have every WQ give 50 anima plus another rewards, gear, rep, gold or even more anima.
Definitely needs a boost here. I’m item level 158 with 161 and 155 trinkets, yesterday there was a trinket reward in a WQ but it was 151, how is this a fitting reward?
Meh, the rep comes from the callings.
So what has been increased??
wel they did get increased - some of loot goes up to 184 and people supposedly did report that callings have a chance to give you 197 itlv
if you check you renown you will see that in 4 weeks they will grow higher for last time - so my guess is 194-197 from WQ and like 210 from callings.
They are basically useless. I upgrade the covenant gear and you can get weapons/rings/trinkets/neck from LFR vault, WB and reputations. I have yet to get anything from a WQ of use.
