World quests gone?

No, he’s probably just enjoying the game, rather than trying to burn through it as quick as possible. This is why they removed world first level 70 badges, and stuff like that.

Again… it’s not about burning through content as quickly as possible. It’s about enjoying the part of the game that’s enjoyable to you.

No we don’t need to have daily stuff to do

So because some people quest at a regular person’s pace they’re burning through the game/rushing? How about that’s how we get to the part that’s fun for us? You enjoy your wheelchair pace, you do you. I still fail to see how you pointing fingers at us like we’re the enemy proves your point. World quests have been on a daily rotation for years now and this change is out of nowhere for no reason.

It doesn’t matter at the end of the day anyway since the game isn’t properly released til raids and m+ is open anyway. It still would be nice to have a reason to log in and do something since the gameplay is fun.

This is exactly the point. I’m reading the quests, doing my professions on the way, getting the flying stuff without some addon guiding me to everything. I will be done when I’m done and most likely there will content again (raids, m+, rated bg, etc).
It’s not running away, is it!

Zerging, as you put it, IS fun.

And I’ve been reliably able to pull 8 hour days in this game every expansion launch. Mot ona midpatch, Launch. Used to he we’d have reps to grind at the very least, and now we’re time gated on it because they listened to whiners with no impulse control.

I’ll just play other games. One less active user for blizzard, and I’m willing to bet I’m not the only one who will.

I brought three friends with me into DF after being gone since Sanctum. Two are contemplating quitting already. I’m the third.

Why?

Bored.

So, enjoy the content you want?

in 2 weeks time you will not give a fork :fork_and_knife: about dailies anymore

Can’t because there aren’t any daily World quest to enjoy.

Too bad, maybe find something else. /shrug

Or just show my aggreement with OP’s moaning thread. And fight off the forum trolls telling him that he’s “playing the game wrong”.

Says the guy hiding behind a classic character.

If everyone that’s bored just quits, they’ll have to do something to keep numbers from bleeding out.

Actually a 2iq take.

I think it’s perfect.

Everyone and their mom moaning about “daily chores” and “forced to log in daily” are the reason they went away with this. I think playing a little less WoW on the weekly is just healthy and can in many cases prevent early burnout.

What has my forum character to do with an opinion? You don’t need to disagree, but you are the one filling the forum with tears because you failed to enjoy the content the game is giving you and want to quit over it.

I fail to see how removal/decrease of optional content is good for the game.

Well that’s your opinion. I welcome these changes.

The point is, if you think it’s a daily chore or feel forced to log in and do it. Well just don’t log in and do it! But don’t take it away from the people who want to do it!

I was fine either way. I didn’t care enough about “falling behind” as I am as super-casual as it gets so I did stuff when I felt like it.
But since they (Blizzard) went this direction, the feedback was that many did not see it that way and logged in and did their dailies because they felt they had to.

Addiction comes in many forms.

Dailies weren’t optional. They helped you gear up, get reputation for factions, etc. That’s why Blizzard changed it.
