any news from blizzard for fixing this problem??
4 hours and not a peep from blizz
Well the entitlement is real. The choice of paying for their service is a free one at this point. If you actually want to play free, you can. It is not hard to get the needed gold for tokens these days, and then what? If paying by cash was the only possibility to use this service i would be more understanding to your concern. But at the end of the day it is not.
I agree with their customer service is a poor one regarding communicating with their users and the availability for the users to actively get in touch with their support. Their ticket responses also takes way longer than they used to, but as with all billion dollar companies, they are in it for the money. In the modern corporate they will always be looking for ways to cut in the HR section and to make things more cost-effective. This was shown clearly during the layer problems which appeared on different realms where their auto-layer system went down and they actually had to bring in workers to manually start the layers.
But yes as with all companies, we the “consumer” are not prioritized as their goal is not to have a trip advisor rating of 5/5 but to earn as much money as possible while providing a service. And as with all services, you can expect trouble at times. But ye they should deffo be better at addressing it and informing.
Firstly, no one here is asking for an instant fix. We all simply want an acknowledgement. Are you reading the same thread as everyone else?
Secondly, no one here is a frustrated keyboard warrior - maybe a couple come close but funnily enough you are the one that’s acting most like a frustrated keyboard warrior. Are you reading the same thread as everyone else?
Thirdly, you’re tying yourself up in knots. Talking about the power bills and that they would be a tiny bit lower to be compensated for the loss of service for those few hours basically proves the point of what people are on about a 24/7 paid service is and why it would be applicable if people were asking for money back. Which we’re not. We just want acknowledgement. Are you reading the same thread as everyone else?
And fourthly, please don’t tell people here what they should and shouldn’t do with their time and presume what I or anyone else may or may not be capable of.
Error: World Server Down
Error: Transfer Aborted: Instance not found.
Got these trying to log in and trying to get into ARAK. 7:27 CET
Entitlement? You think that expecting to receive what I pay for is entitlement?
“World server is down” for all characters of EU-Antonidas.

T U R T L E POWA

also stuck me and my friend as well, we were not even online just wanted to try log in and can not ! any GM response for this serious ongoing topic would be fair !
Same here but only in War Within Exp. I could logged in orgrimmar or zuldazar without problem.
I work in IT. We treat our customers with respect, we communicate promptly with them and we take responsibility for providing the service they pay for. People have a right to get what they pay for or compensation. We have the concept of ‘Service Level Agreements’ as do many other industries.
And, yes, on a personal basis, we do get compensation from the power company when storms mean extended power outage and prompt communication for utility firms when there is any outage whatsoever. We have animals and live in a farming community. Power goes off, so does the local water pumping station and the animals have nothing to drink in a short amount of time. So, by your argument, we leave them to suffer and just wait?!
Downtime in business is money and it usually has a domino effect on other services. In critical IT service provision it can cost peoples’ lives in healthcare or e.g. aviation. It can cost jobs and cause many other problems.
I don’t think your attitude is at all realistic.
There’s a lot of people in this thread being very generous towards Blizzard on this stuff. They have offices in NA, EU, Asia. One of the big reasons gaming companies open offices in different timezones like this is so that work can continue on in some fashion 24/7, this includes (or rather should include) customer service. This affecting EU realms at night when EU offices are closed shouldn’t make it impossible for the employees working from their offices in Asia to issue a response.
Same here, Argent Dawn. Tried various methods to help, it’s not on my end.
Simular here, thunderstrike.
Any info from blizz?
Still no message, no communications, and people still can’t log in
A crash can happen, even a lengthy one, not communicating on the current measures taken to take care of it is ridiculous.
It is always the bootlickers that are the worst
Same problem here on EU-Arathor. " World server is down"
