Hey. I’m fairly new to the game and for some time i keep getting the error that world server is down when i try to log in with my character . Is anyone else keep getting this ?

Yes there are some issues at the moment.
Btw off topic: why do new players or forumers often mention it’s their first forum post or they’re new to the game?
I think this is not Blizz fault, I have some other internet website connection error too. This seems some internet problem :S
Same problem for Stormscale.
Was in Revendreth using my HS for Bastion when i got the instance not found message… so thinking that the Bastion server is down, i decided to fly to Ardenweald.
Well… some instance not found, transfer aborted messages while on the taxi popped up and i got there, but there’s lag, and the world is basically unresponsive.
Looks like WoW itself is kinda down in the dumpster… fitting for SL tbh. xD
I have tried more realms, but all say word server is down.
I also was in Revendreth and the game was laggy , wanted to restart the game but coudn’t even exit i had to stop the app in task manager.
same issue on Silvermoon. Its not like we pay monthly for this game! F2P so they dont have enough money to have decent servers!
I would add your realms to this topic in Customer Service, if I were you:-

Well… the most concerning fact now is that there are multiple servers that died at the same time basically.
Blizz was probably pushing some hotfixes and screwed everything. gg
Have played for probably less than an hour today and got lagged out twice, people running on the spot and couldn’t use any abilities etc. The game didn’t time out and disconnect me so I was forced to alt+F4 and restart manually both times.
Servers itself are not dead. While both me and my pal were booted from Ragnaros, the rest of my guild is still online. Something to do with the login servers I bet.
