A friend can’t log in and there are some reports appearing in the Technical Support forum.
I can’t login 
It appears to be every server.
(Pretty sure these are the same issue, just depending on whether you were online or not when it happened.)
Blizzard are aware and investigating.
Blizz lost the key to the server room, and the gremlins are eating the cables. Now they try to find a locksmith, cos they fired their own.
usually the servers crash in the first evening a new raid is released. blizzard is truly ahead of themselves
Unable to log in, also.
There is a notice about it on bnet and WoW login page.
