I mean i dont disageee anything you said.
Im not a big fan of wbs myself. Or atleast have them easier to get. Hell i even think no timer on songflower is a great idea.
But chronos have never the issue for thoose things you mention.
With no chronos you still have to all thoose things you mention, but you would def get griefed or meet ppl camping to kill you.
Also you would be forced to loggout untill raid time so you dont loose time on wbs.

Without chrono I wouldn’t care about world buffs at all. And for sure I wouldn’t logout. The only reason I’m getting buffs is because they are required to enter the raid. And they are required because they are easy to get.

Would still be a requirement to get them even without chronos.
But to be fair tho some guilds really dosent care about wbs.

Delete Chronoboon and make World buffs run out while logged out.

Suddenly nobody will have the expectation anymore to bring world buffs. Because either there is one or there isn’t. Raidlogging no longer encouraged.

It’s still nice tho have a Rallying cry of the Dragon slayer, but that’s it. You better get out and use it as long as you have it, instead of saving it.

Why not just delete world buffs all together? Thats a better solution  there will still be a expectation still. What will happen ks that the whole raid will go together before the raid or they will tell tell you to get it 1-2h before the raid starts. Chronos have never been the issue. Its the wb meta that is the issue with or without chronos.

Mostly because it would change less of the game than deleting it. Deleting them would be my second most favored option.

What if I were to tell you that raids can be completed without having every single world buff stacked?

It would be a weird thing to say that is not really related to WB meta discussion?

Wait, do you actually think people are getting WBs because they think they literally couldn’t clear the raid without tham? Surely you can’t be that clueless? You are just tolling, right?

ERA. I am happy.

SoD. I stoped playing when they made possbile to level doing daily quests. I think it was seaon 2 or 3. First season, I enjoyed it a lot. A shaman tank or mague healer was fun.

Anyversay. From the day one, it felt like retail. I tried it because the double spec (I don’t see the problem with this) but I have not leveled one ton to 60. The SR/HR thing in even 5 man groups discouraged me to continue.

HC. I have not touched it.

Mass reporting resulting in bans. When enough beta males in AV report you, you get banned. Was banned for a week for the first time in 20 years of Wow.

Nay, accoding to MVP posts mass reporting does not ban people

What I can say is that I know of a person who got permanently banned for cheating after undercutting the SM boost mafia, and then got completely unbanned 1 day later as soon as he got a real human to look at his case.
He showed me screenshots of his German tickets and I have no reason the believe he would fabricate them since he wouldn’t gain anything from deceiving a random idiot like me in DMs.

I’m pretty sure it does, and there’s a fair bit of evidence to support that fact.

Given that the report tool is an automated script that cannot think in abstract terms, does not understand context, and cannot differentiate between real bannable actions and mass report trolling.

In my experience people are getting WBs because raid leader requires it. Most of they parse blue or below and don’t really care about parses, TBH, they just want loot.

This doesn’t prove anything, really. He could’ve been banned after manual review by incompetent game master and then his appeal was processed by a more competent game master.

Honestly Blizzard should actually employ a proper AI. I’ve used AI plenty in the recent years and they’re awesome. Definitely better than those “15 reports = mute” rules. Not ideal, but I’m sure that 99% of issues would be solved by AI actually analyzing chats and logs before making a decision.

I can understand removal of gms tho. Most of time ppl just wanted to chat and ask stupid questions no wonder they were removed.

That was not the reason GMs were removed, they were removed for cost cutting reasons because Activision at the time wished to maximise profits and minimise overheads, which included staff wages. GMs were one of many casualties.

You say that ‘most people asked GMs stupid questions.’ So, of all the people who contacted GMs for support, what percentage of those abused the service? 90% 70% 65%?

Instead of having a few servers all with 1 layer and a few high pops and a medium pop they just forced everyone onto some cluster of bots and inflation.
