ISSUE: The Protection Paladin talent Hammer of the Righteous is not doing the appropriate damage (zero) when a heirloom weapon is used.
The ability does 1-3 damage which would suggest it is using level 1 heirloom scaling and not level based. At level 70 the heirloom weapon has 94 dps.
When using a green weapon it consistently does 800+ damage.
Here’s how to reproduce this:
- Level 70 Paladin using the Battleworn Thrash Blade
- Use Hammer of the Righteous with the heirloom equipped.
- Damage should be 1-3 when the heirloom is used, and significantly higher (at least 800+) when any other weapon is used.
Here’s an example of four uses of this ability on a mob in which the ability crits for 3 and normal hits of 1:

You can see here that the damage for this ability is significantly higher when used against the same mob.
If this is not fixed, this significantly devalues heirloom weapons (or specifically the Battleworn Thrash Blade) for protection paladins.
