I have been playing this game since 2007 and I have never seen so much greed from a company so far. (I worked for ABK [Activision Blizzard King] for 6 years).
Selling a service for 60 euros (a full AAA+ game price for one character boost) for me is insane.
I know people will say, well don’t buy it, it’s your choice etc. People don’t realise that this is the most aggressive marketing move I have ever seen from ABK.
Put some opinions here, I just want to hear what people think.
I agree with you. It is partly the consumer’s fault, nonetheless, I wonder why no regulating body has stepped in.
Its amazing. Its literaly the only reason i started to Play endgame in wolk classic and now i started to slowly progress icc on my boosted Hunter.
Had they announced wolk forever era i would without doubt buy mutliple boosts there . Without it 1 boost with cata is enough 
I thought you also get a whirling cloud of orange puke for the 60€? Or is that the more expensive one?
If this is what is paying for retail transmog when cata comes out… huffing copium.
And now they announced tinkering with token gold price, in case you didn’t spend enough money. I’m pretty sure they already had some rubberbanding in the pricing, but it clearly wasn’t effective enough.
It’s a bit late for that now. Pretty soon you’re going to be looking at Cataclysm ‘Classic’ which takes every single good thing about the game, urinates on it, and sets fire to it.
The P2W level boost, WoW tokens, account-wide items etc. were all obnoxious at the time, but largely meaningless now given what they’re doing to the game.
My advice is to vote with your wallet.
This makes it so that I won’t spend one dime on this game, I would rather give this money for free to a stranger then give it to ABK (activision blizzard king).
Boy oh boy you’ve been gone a long time. The boost has been a thing since 2014.
Though yeah it’s massively overpriced. It used to come with profession boosts too if you levelled 1-60 first before using.
Imo cata brought more good things than tbc and wrath combined.

Agree. But it seems to me that Blizzard will not change anything.
Think about it like this. How many hours would it take you to get a character to that level and compare that to your hourly pay at work.
Now is it that expensive?
its not - and its amazing addition to game
should have been a thing both in classic and tbc too - much more people would play
since im done with gearing my hunt outside of ICC boosted druid and have a blast playing on it.
i would neverplay it if it wasnt for char boost.
its fine. alot of players probably wouldnt want to level all the way anyway so the boost is great
I completely agree. I understand boosting in pre patch phases to an extend (not completely an not saying it is a good thing) but doing it in the middle of an active extension is so bad and devaluates my whole progress and has actually kept me from playing wotlk because i´m just so frustrated
