Hey,
now that TBC Classic is out for a bit (yeah I know is Beta but is was basically the whole game and all important players got in), T4 is completetly cleared and thousands of arena games have been played, can we have a release date for WotLK classic?
TBC was fun, an improvement from Classic in my opinion. But WotLK was WoWs prime by player count and what people say about it nowadays. It’s also the most played expansion on private servers. Pretty sure it will be a big success. TBC and classic legacy servers should stay online of course, for people who prefer it.
Classic will, by all appearances, be over slightly less than 2 years after it’s release. So, judging by that logic, we can tentatively assume Wrath to release somewhere in early to mid 2023.
And yes, I did just seriously reply to an obvious troll, I am aware.
Classic is all about server communities, dungeon finder ruined that. With it, it will be retail all over again, grouping with faceless/nameless randoms you will never see again.
I heard that TBC is being scrapped due to the community uproar over monetarising the game - so WoTLK will come out in September with a shop based on the knowledge gained from the most popular P Server . Gear / Mounts / Gold etc will be obtainable for coins, that can be bought for cash. There will be one server with both layering and CRZ implemented.
The Expac will fail and Bliz will say “You thought you knew what you wanted, but you didn’t”
