(Wotlk Classic) SavedVariables folder just gone?

So few days ago I was able to transfer .lua setting for an addon from original 3.3.5 to Wrath Classic. The folder I used to do that is: “World of Warcraft_classic_\WTF\Account\Gehennas\AccountName\SavedVariables” and it worked fine. However, today when I wanted to do the same for my other character the folder SavedVariables was just gone out of nowhere??
Has anybody else encouter this issue before and if so, how did u manage to fix it? So far I’ve tried to: Scan and repair the game from battle net but it didnt help…

Game crashes or force closing the game (eg. alt+f4) can cause settings file corruption although I don’t remember encountering entire folder going missing before. WoW doesn’t make real backups of the addon settings etc. so unless you had made backups before they are most likely gone for good.

Ok but there has to be a way to bring the folder back, even with default settings or so? Maybe full reinstall of the game can help?

Folder is automatically created when it is needed (usually when you start the game). There is no need to move empty folder or such.

Well i’ve started and resterted the game a bunch of time, i even installed a new addon to try force the folder to come back, but it just wont sadly. :frowning:

Other than double checking that you are looking it in correct place I don’t really have any suggestions. If you have installed the game under \Program Files it can cause sometimes issues on where it saves the files as normal Windows users don’t have write permissions to those folders normally.
