As others have said with the spew of changes that have been announced recently for WOTLK Classic (e.g. Heroic+ and tank/healer rewards), this is not Classic whatsoever anymore.
I only heard of these changes because of another user. I didn’t see them on the launcher.
Vanilla Classic = Faithful.
TBC Classic = Faithful for the most part.
WOTLK Classic = Never released, as Classic stopped with TBC.
I’d say sort your crap out, but considering there’s no way to actually speak to a GM as of the past couple of weeks, and there’s been no mods on these forums for a good while, it makes you wonder what a sorry state things are internally at Blizzard.
Tbf they can’t remove RDF before it was supposed to be added, but their intention was clear that it was being removed/not added. Wrath+ as you say, not Wrath Classic.
And people will play it and have fun or what it looks like now. Then they will do Cata, MoP and so on and people will go play there and don’t really care on statistical level what changes are in or out?
That’s the problem with gaming, the people who play them. Kids and childish adults crying about how they want things easier and not voting with their wallets - I’m looking at you, people who paid £15 for a mount ingame actually it’s not funny, it’s sad.

If they wanted things easier they’d be playing ffxiv and not this hot garbage lmfao
I’m sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t like final fantasy, or the MMO, but it seems they should play any game that’s more recently released since ease and convenience is what the majority of them are about.
Why make a classic game, a re-release of an old game, which original aim is letting players experience the original game once more, if its heavily altered and a different experience altogether?
If it is just about the content, anyone could just levelstop on retail and play the northrend content there. The class design aside, it might be an even more original experience, because RDF is actually there and theres no M(+) for the content.
Not sure what are you implying here? People won’t leave the game because it has to be #nochanges. Blizzard changed RDF and people are still here, Blizzard did other changes, one PvP realm with 6h queue and people are still here. They will add HC+ and some people will be angry, some indifrent, some happy but statistically population will not change because most people are either indifrent or addicted.
The service may be of much lower quality that it could have been but not low enough to cause loss of addicted playerbase. Sadly…
I wasn’t implying anything actually, I was literally saying what I meant. And some people will leave because of these changes. I highly doubt all those people are still here, but no one knows. You could say that, but that is similar to the stuff people said back at the time late in wrath and in cata that people won’t leave, and people did leave, myself and my group of friends for one. There was a common theme through conversation in Classic with others as well who left the game in Cata or at the end, and only came back for Classic. They quit before, they’ll do it again - and if it’s anything like mine will be, I won’t be paying Blizzard any money again ever after I level up in Wrath, if I even play official servers at all.
lmao how was classic faithful to vanilla? Megaservers, basically perma layering, cross realm bg queues (smth that only existed at the very end of vanilla before TBC came along) etc.
