I want to play a rogue in wotlk, mainly in pvp.
By pvp i mean duel, wpvp and bg.
I saw two good build : the mutilate and the sub spe
Can you tell me what the best spe is between these two ? The pros and cons of each spe ?

Assa has more constant damage but lacks a lot in utility. For instance you have no you gap closer besides Sprint.
Sub has good burst and utility but less damage compared to Assa besides cooldown windows.

So the mutilate build is more about consistant damages and sub more based on burst, got it !
I know the mutilate is also less skilled, By far, but stronger vs classes with a lot of armor when sub is stronger vs low armor classes.
But i really dont know if these two are on the same ground in duel, wpvp or bg. My heart goes in the direction of mutilate cause a little braindead and im not a pgm but if its too weak compared to sub… I might try to play sub

Asking others for their opinion on a class is something i consider risky. You have no idea how/what/why they base things on. The absolute best idea is to play for yourself and try it out.
You can even play on private servers for fast levels to test max level.
Sub rogue is the stronger option but only if executed accordingly.
Put differently: it has the higher skillcap.
Rogue gets nerfed from tbc to wotlk. U get less mobility, less interrupts and higher cds.
Sub gives you the options to overcome those difficulties with skill.
Fire Mage, Boomkin, Ele Shaman and Destro Warlock. Rogue is more for fair arena competiton imo.

Bruh, not for arena. For BGs and wpvp. Op specifically asked for those.
Mutilating is probably better than sub in world pvp and bgs. Sub is a spec for arena that wants to set kills up for their mage with cc.

OH So mutilate is better during the firsts patches but then in 3.3.5 sub becomes better with the arpen ?
Oh, i better have to train sub since the first patch in this case
I admit im a little afraid of the sub spe, seems So hard to play and master
ur trolling btw is to obvious but my hate for rogues is so big that i wrote anyway
Really no, i just see on every post that sub is the hardest spe to play with frost mage and dk/ret /mutilate are braindead, thats why im inclined to play mutilate and not sub, im not a pro pvp player
Im afraid i loose my time on a spe too hard for me if im not good enough
From my casual experience back in Wotlk Rogues in general felt pretty much fragile and that was their main weakness. Your health bar is going to melt against Dk’s, Paladin’s and Warrior’s(especially deeper into Wrath) just because…

Combat for 1v1 and bgs ? I never see this build, how does it work ?
