Wind blows, my hair sways, in Northrend I find myself.
Brutal glad gear set; no wonder I am welcome in dungeons today.
My dreams of Northrend have come true,
I know not why I push through.
In the distance the wings of death and an island shrouded by mists…
Is this retail once again?
Exciting times as I got on the boat,
Next thing I know in the water I float,
It has disappeared that’s very odd,
This probably isn’t an act of god.
Oh no, I can see a flying dragon,
Sadly though as I take a drink out my flagon,
This isn’t a good thing, infact its obscene,
As I realise it is the login screen.
So sadly I slump back into my chair,
Feeling rage and madness and mostly despair,
But its only a small business, not to worry,
Its not like everyone will be level 80 in a hurry.
It’s almost past midnight,
Wife n kids sound asleep.
My eyes barely open,
But at this time we meet.
Friends long forgotten,
Reunited online in force!
My mage clearly rotten,
She is undead ofcourse.
We gaze upon Northrend - Snowcovered plains,
The Lich King is closer,
Chilled blood in my veins.
Food got delivered, I think it’s Korean,
Fueling our Quests in the Tundra, was it „Borean“?
Adventure and story, a cascade of fun.
We boast for our glory, while others just run.
In Azeroths World we all shall revel,
While others just rush and push to max level.
Let me try. A bit more than 100 words, but it was really hard to cut the story more. Also, it’s really hard to rhyme when English is not Your first language (I probably made some mistakes with rhymes ). Ok, here goes:
Came to Northrend to explore
learn about forgotten lore
expedition well prepared
made camp on a mountain shelf
in the snowy, stormy peaks
looking for titans antiques
titan ruins all around,
various relics here abound
something isn’t quite right though
I hear whispers from below
nightmares plague me every night,
waking me with my own cry
dreams of treason, murder, fear
something evil must be near
heard such whispers long ago
‘twas C’Thun’s manifesto
can an Old God be nearby?
again, woken with my cry.
stepped outside my leather tent,
to find out to my torment
bodies butchered all around,
and faint whisper in my mind:
You did kill them little elf,
and forever You will serve.
