Classic should revolve around these 5 eras Vanilla - tbc - wotlk - mop - legion

Taste is subjective, it doesn’t make sense for blizzard to follow yours or anyones. That’s why they’ll probably do all expansion classics.
I’m pretty much only interested in wotlk and cata. MoP was great but i played it so much… not sure I’d do it again.
I came to classic for the “old” design philosophy (and class design) => WoD onwards, i have no reason to play it, including legion.
Hard disagree with TBC and likely Wrath too from what I’ve played so far.
wotlk > legion > mop > cata > wod > bfa > tbc > vanilla > shadowlands

I’d put Shadowlands above Vanilla and TBC for gameplay alone. There is nothing more tedious than Vanilla/TBC combat.
Agree with the rest of that list though.

Vanilla is not an expansion, so isn’t included.
TBC I can get behind, horrific. Although, Classic was just streamlined chaos without any type of balance or real rated or ranked play. I thought it was fun because it didn’t need to be balanced in regards to PvP.
I never liked MoP. I quit the game because of that expansion and haven’t returned until WoD which was a travesty. I lost all hope in WoW afterwards although I did play a month of Legion and thought it was okay-ish. It failed to keep me interested so I gave up on retail entirely.
Surprised a lot of people seem to like MoP now. Because when it came out there was so much hate. Like most of my friends (both irl and in-game) quit the game in protest when MoP came out and some haven’t returned even for Classic.
Alltough its subjective indeed, there seem to be some simliarities in the posts here. I also think legion was an amazing expansion. Maybe the best even.
I didnt care too much for bfa and shadowlands. Also interesting to see WoD is no longer on the bottom anymore?
I find it hard to judge on TBC cause that was my first xp with wow. Fall in love with the game from the start. But looking back, character design was a bit boring. Shadowbolt spam, steady shot spam, firebal spam… there wasnt a lot of variety back then. But the overall vibe was amazing. The music, the dungeons, nagrand, karazhan…
Vanila was top for me, and nothing else.

Legion, Mop, Wotlk, Tbc and Vanilla are the best games. In my opinion, they should focus on theses, I don’t mind playing Cataclysm.
Cataclysm, World of Draenor, BFA, Shadowlands, I don’t think the mass of players like theses xpac, you think “maybe” but you don’t.
