Wow 11.0 idea

I was thinking this for 10.0 but now I move my idea to 11.0. What if the next expansion would be a “back to good old days” expansion with the following plot: in 11.0 prepatch we beat a “dream god” (could be Hogger) who can control everybody’s dreams and then we wake up back in…let’s say Burning Crusade or WOTLK

  • the world was never touched by Deathwing
  • Voljin, Varian, Saurfang and many more have never died
  • The guy hiding behind the barrels in Goldshire basemenet will still be there doing the exact same thing
  • don’t know how to bring the news to pandarens, dracktyr and dks, dhs, monks

I was just thinking about a very cool plot. That or we will all get super small (microscopically size) and do something in a very tiny world. Cheers!

I know it’s a troll thread, but…

I think it’s far too late to suggest what Blizzard should do next. And I think they’ll tell us what’s after DF in the fall at BlizzCon.

What do you think it’ll be? Revamp it Avaloren? Maybe something else entirely?

And that would be Drac’thyr.

Then again at least it isn’t a retcon. We just didn’t know about them.

I’m certainly betting on some tinkering with kalimdor and EK. With current zone design philosophy updated zones would be equal to almost completely new.
Imagine zones size of dragon isles.

But on second thought they are adding dragon races to old locations in 10.1.5, which in turn could mean that they don’t have plans on updating

so like a chromie time that brings us back to vanilla world and questlines?

Your Achievement Points are back at 0.
Your mount collection is empty.
Ditto for toys, transmogs and heirlooms.
Your bank has a few old items in and your purse clinks with a few copper coins.

I can see the appeal of a fresh start, some might not though.
