Blizzard has uploaded a mysterious new version of WoW to their servers called wowdev3. wowdev is typically used for Retail builds. wowdev2 has been used for Classic builds.

i would like early wrath
It’ll be based on 3.3, jusst like Vanilla was 1.12, and TBC was 2.4.3.

Just sounds like another WoW-related game.
If Retail is wowdev and Classic is wowdev2, then I’ll speculate that wowdev3 is the upcoming mobile game that will tie-in with WoW on the PC. It’s supposed to come out in 2022 anyway, so that’s right about…now.

if only it had transmog… I really cant stand to play again with my character as “clown”… not to mention that transmog alone adds tons of content in the form of transmog farm… I wish they will not make it with no changes and add transmog!

Its wotlk classic, probabbly coming this summer as a filler to keep players subbed due to new expansion relasing somewhere in first Q of 2023.
I think they’ll announce both at the same time.
I hope it’s Classic Wrath, I can’t wait for it.

When I first saw this I thought “WoW3, we haven’t even had WoW2 yet”, but now I see it’s an alpha build of something, probably Wrath.

well as certain other servers show adding transmog to wotlk doesnt make it any worse
