I am a figure collector and I noticed that at this moment, none of WoW are made.
I know that DC Unlimited used to make them (although they weren’t actual “action” figure), then there was those from the movie, which had some questionable quality, and then the Megablock (not really my thing, but still cool).
A few years ago, we got the Hots figure from Neca, and those were actually very good! Unfortunately, only 5 WoW characters have been made before the series was cancelled.
Whenever I go to the shop, I often see some Overwatch figures, and those look great! But I can’t help and wonder why there is no Warcraft figures? There are so many cool characters in this franchise that could be made!
It really makes me sad that despise the fact that WoW is my all time favorite franchises, it is the one where I can’t actually get all those characters that I love on my showcases.
What do you think? Would you buy them if they were made?
Do you own any of those figures from Neca? I have the TMNT movie figures and the quality is questionable, with a rushed paint job, brittle plastic and more flash than the DC and King Features universes combined. It’s discouraged me from buying anything else produced by them.
In all honesty, I’d probably only buy them if the were something like the Final Faction figures. Then my daughter and I could have a massive RTS-style war with them all. For display pieces I’d rather have statues as all those collector’s action figures don’t seem like they would hold up to actual play session*. Unless they made Vol’jin. Then I’d probably buy him.
Yes I do. And those that I have are pretty good. But I remember having bought a Nova and there was a lot of paint issues on her, so I am not surprised that you had issues on yours figures. She came with a inter-changeable hand, and when I tried to switch it, the hand cracked. Also her gun was bend.
These are those from DC Unlimited. I have a lot of them, but as said by others, they are quite expensive now (unless you buy the knock-off versions).
True! There is many of them made by third parties that are incredibly well done! But I was aiming for something more affordable, accessible for everyone in your local store.
There is the new Nendoroid Sylvanas that is also a amazing figure! It’s a bit more pricey, but I really hope that they will make more characters.
