This piece in particular I quite like. It’s a very old one from the early days of WoW back when the site still had a fan art section. It was one of the first submissions to the fan art category the old website used to have. Many of these pieces were lost but I managed to save this one. There was also another by this artist with this character fixing a mechanical squirrel but I can’t seem to find it.

I had forgotten about these. Makes me nostalgic. TBC is still my favourite expansion.
That Draenei always intrigued me though. She looks so different than the draenei we know. More like a demon or maybe even some starcraft character.
Big favourite is the atmosphere in the Kul Tiras concept art landscapes. They were definitely a deciding factor in choosing to RP one

Kul Tiras was such a beautiful zone/culture (ignoring you, Drustvar). It’s everything they tried to do with Gilneas, but felt a whole lot more developed and liveable than “they wear top hats and say cor blimey”. Tidesages remain as my favourite underused concept. Less Gilnean humans, more Kul Tiran humans, thanks AD.

I’m currently RPing one myself, albeit my Tidesage is an apostate due to a crisis of faith regarding doubts concerning the nature of the Tidemother. I felt like there’s more to explore to it than just Good Tidesages defeated the Evil Tidesages and everything went back to normal.
Woah, was the first image meant to be Anglepoint Wharf or Boralus? I would’ve loved to see some kind of seawall-esque (with active gates and sea traffic) thing in Kul Tiras, ironically over time I’ve kinda lost the feeling of seafaring Kul Tirans in Boralus.
Excuse you, Drustvar is the prettiest zone of them all. The first quest that takes you there has this very lovely autumnal yellowish-orange feeling to it, and the crimson forests are very a e s t h e t i c too!!
On topic though, I feel like Emerald Dreamway (and Dreamgrove) in game have come very close to art itself - I love both zones to bits. It definitely made me more interested than before to RP a Druid and gave me hope of updated Darnassus ((and I did get one . . . )) to RP in. My favourite zones in several expansions and overall!

Hey now, pig-headed blokes can be beautiful too…
except the quillboar in Stormsong Valley. They’ll never be beautiful and their zones completely ruined the actual serene aesthetic of the zone. I’m still angry and I’ve only done their questline once.
