It was bad before, but never this bad. I play since vanilla and saw it all.
Old honor system was a hellish grind to rank14 (which I got back then), but what it became these days…
It is not PvP anymore, it is “my gear beats your gear”.
Leveling an alt to have some fun in PvP is no longer an option, not in Shadowlands. Even if you level through BGs from 50 to 60, you still get 23-25k hp toon in mediocre gear at the end.
You can’t rely on PvE gear too, cuz of versatility stat (thanks for the ***ard who designed it).
Matchmaking is nonexistent, mainly thanks to everyone rolling horde, so alliance has constant enlistment bonus and everybody just gets pulled inside the next bg without much attention to ilvl balance of the teams (god I hope such parameter even exists in your “matchmaker” Blizz).
At least before we had those buffs that made people feel more on par with everyone else in same BG. These days you can grind your behind off and still be beaten in one stunlock cuz “lol u scrub get gear”, even though that “scrub” can already have at least full honor set, which was not-so-bad for years, but now is like lvling greens or worse.
Can we get some blue attention or those guys are too busy counting subs money (still?)
