Forgive me if I’m being dense, but why separate releasing the honor system and bgs opening? I really enjoy classic bgs but I’m not big on ganking/open world pvp 
wouldn’t it make more sense for them to come together so players such as myself aren’t forced to engage in world pvp just to keep up?
I really hope that Era and Anniversary Realms will be linked for PvP. Era realms battlegrounds have taken a massive hit with much fewer players participating because of Fresh, so linking them would help that situation a lot.
I played Vanilla, I thought it was a lot of fun. That said, it certainly had it’s limitations, and when I consider those limitations it’s enough for me to not to play that version of the game.
I’d be much happier with a permanent TBC/WTLK. Anything Cata and beyond isn’t worth my time either.
And due to all of this, I am happy to keep with Retail.
