WoW 20th Anniversary Edition: Naxxramas Casts its Shadow 2 October.
At first glance that reads like a title for the 20th anniversary event for WoW Retail that’s coming on October 2.
I mean, it’s not mentioned anywhere so it’s pretty easy to mistake this for the Retail anniversary event unless your brain remembers that there’s something called Anniversary Servers - which right now strikes me as a really bad name choice.
You actually have to scroll quite far down the article before you realize it’s for Classic Anniversary Servers and that it has nothing to do with WoW’s anniversary, even though that’s also pretty soon.
Had to go to Wowhead just to be sure, lol.

“WoW Classic Anniversary Edition” refers to the classic servers that opened during the 20th anniversary event last year. They are now approaching Naxxramas patch on those servers. This has nothing to do with the actual anniversary event, 20th or 21st.
I mean… the second word in the headline is “classic”

It said “WoW 20th Anniversary Edition: Naxxramas Casts its Shadow 2 October” to begin with, which is a confusing mess of a title.
It’s more clear now, so good on them for changing it.
