As far as I remember, in WoW Classic 2019 and Classic Era, the maximum distance for nameplates was increased from 20 yards to 41 yards. This change significantly improved the gameplay experience, allowing better visibility of enemies and NPCs.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to work in WoW Classic Anniversary. The distance is still capped at 20 yards.
I tried the following commands:
/console nameplateMaxDistance 41
and
/script SetCVar(“nameplateMaxDistance”, 41)
but neither had any effect.
It would be greatly appreciated if this functionality could be restored in WoW Classic Anniversary, just like it was on the Classic Era and Classic 2019 servers.
