When it comes to vanilla wow, people are not going to wait. Blizzard should have opened more realms from the start, but we all know that.
LOL, never expected such version of anti-immigrant whining to happen in wow. Like, "I thought server XY is just for me and my friends to chillout, and now someone else will be first to 60! " Maybe label newcomers with a debuff so we know who the ārealā Bloodfangians are?
I think itās a very good move. You canāt make everyone happy at once. So sorry to hear āsome server first 60 funā might be ruined, but this is not about one evening event to talk about server first 60. this is about long term classic fun.
very well done. hope every realm gets settled soon.
Itās not only about server first feeling. Itās about naturally forming communities and whole guilds transfering and ruining the ecosystem. We donāt have any single guild (at least on horde) that was premade before the classic launch. Only solo players and small groups of friends that would make fresh guilds.
One of the most enjoyable bits and motivations for me to play classic was the restart and this decision will really take away from the experience for me.
I see that this might be a nice thing for those on large servers wishing to move however, as a player that re-rolled on bloodfang when it came out to avoid the ques, Iāve feel that adding transfers and allowing longer established characters to move to a far more recent realm is quite unfair to those that are playing already.
I appreciate that players on established realms canāt foresee if ques will appear later on but there is definitely better ways to handle this surely like allowing transfers from full servers to lower ones that came out at the same date. (not that ques arenāt normal for players that want to be on the biggest, most popular and bustling servers!) Personally, having people with capped accounts, gear farmed and items to put on the auction house will really take away from the progressive nature of the gameās starting experience.
Our situation was some of us took time off, so got on golemagg some didnāt. So they got bit by queues. Like most people it seems.
Would it not be easier to just open up one more new realm and allow transfers to it from both Mograine and Razorgore that way you wonāt completely mess up the communityās formed on the servers that are only 5 days old, allowing level 60ās to move to either of Bloodfang or Judgement In my opinion is an extremely bad choice on your part it almost makes releasing them pointless, People picked these realms because they either wanted the fresh server feeling or were late to the party allowing day oneāers immediate access to these servers has potential long term implication in regards to economy of both servers.
I just think long story short opening one more server and allowing both āfullā servers free transfers there that way your not effecting any current or newer realms.
Please donāt destroy Bloodfang and Judgment and put a level Cap for people who are allowed to switch there.
Like 30~ Otherwise it is just unfairā¦
Have the same problem. Donāt mind paying for it. I just want to solve this problem ASAP.
This exactly.
In essence there are no RP realms on EU at the moment since theyāre saturated with non rpāers who came for the lower queue times.
Where all other players have some place else to go to fulfill their needs, the same cannot be said for RPers. Only one of every 30 or so people you meet seems to be an rper. Only one of every 15 guilds or so even seems to be rp friendly.
Please allow transfers from RP servers to regular servers
good idea, but doubt it will happen.
today is a sad day.
Youāre not stuck on Dreadmist. Just start again on Judgement. I started again, for the third time, on Gandling. I have a 20lvl and 16lvl on other, full realms, but I have absolutely no wish to transfer to a realm, which is also eligible for transfers from Gehennas.
APES and other similar guilds will just transfer there and dominate the economy, so moving there would be an extremely stupid move for anyone who is not APES.
And so my characters remain stuck on Firemaw and Iāll just keep leveling my fresh toon on Gandling.
We didnāt expect these transfers would be so limiting. Blizzard, as you know classic experience is all about world and community. Because of botched release, our guild got split half between two servers. Now people from Firemaw can transfer, but other portion of us who are on Gandling for example have no option to join them.
So youāve virtually left us split, when it was not even our fault initially. Not everybody could start playing from early morning or else suffer 20k+ queue for countless hours. There is no fun waiting to play for the whole day.
Do not make us loose the progress. Let lesser populated servers also be able to transfer to the new servers so guilds and friends can finally unite!
As someone who rolled on Bloodfang because they missed the first few days of Classic, this decision is really upsetting. As mentioned previously, very few people are even -approaching- the mid-way to 60 landmark.
Do you know the worst thing that is going to happen? A bunch of hardcore/semi-hardcore guilds who couldnāt handle the better opposition on Razorgore will transfer here so they can prey on the helpless.
Bloodfang has been growing nicely and organically, maintaining a medium population at evening hours and increasing steadily. Now youāre just going to turn it into a target for wannabe top-dogs that come with a BfA mentality to dominate the economy and server overall.
Despicable, disappointing and damning of you, Blizzard.
Or another Ideaā¦ Before you destroy Bloodfang and Judgment. Put us together instead of let higher level player invade us. So u save 1 Sever slot for Morgrain and the other one and noone has problemsā¦
Thats actually sounds nice, wouldnāt mind that.
Transfers are obviously invaluable, but only if the realms are on more or less equal terms. Realm that was launched five days ago with low pop and a realm that launched eight days ago with max pop are not equal. Give people some time to adapt, otherwise the newer, slower realms will suffer.
I totally agree, thatās unfair
that is actually a great solution
This is in fact an excellent idea. Better to merge Bloodfang and Judgement. Come on, guys. Letās make this a thing.
