WoW classic has been running fine all week. Today I’m having issues logging in.
If I restart my PC (Windows 7) I am able to log in as normal.
If I log out and close WoW and reopen it later on then it crashes on the log-in screen. The Account Name, Password boxes and other text do not load - just the background image. WoW freezes and I get the circular thinking mouse icon.
I have deleted the battle.net cache. I have removed all addons. I have checked that WoW Classic install is not damaged.
The only thing that allows me to successfully log in is to do a full restart of my PC.
Any ideas?

Maybe there’s a process that conflicts with WoW that isn’t open when you restart your PC, but opens when you log in the first time after rebooting and doesn’t stop until you restart your PC?
Ah, I should say that I’ve Ended Agent.exe, battle.net.exe and any wow.exe’s in the process list as well.
That hasn’t helped.
I’m not sure if there are any other processes to look out for. These three are the ones mentioned in Blizz Support.
Try to check the processes you have open in the task manager before and after opening WoW and post your results here.
Same for me. Game has been running fine until I woke up this morning.
Not it hangs on startup and is annoying to end.
Edit: I run Windows 10
Before opening wow (on a freshly restarted PC) I have just Agent.exe and Battle.net.exe (x3) in the Processes list. (Obviously there are some other PC processes listed but I can account for them all. I’ve also stripped it to the minimum.)
Opening wow gives me wow.exe.
Closing wow removes the wow.exe from the list.
Reopening WoW hangs.
I can’t see any irregular processes, or processes that exist on a fresh attempt that are/aren’t there when it fails to open WoW for a second time.
Are you running in DX11 or 12? Try the other. You also don’t mention which video card and whether the driver is up to date.
Are you running any other programs? Discord? Corsair ICUE? Some kind of audio enhancer app?
