Wow classic level 60 mount and TBC fly mount

Should i buy my level 60 mount in classic since TBC is in 20 days? Do you need it to get the flying mount?

I believe you do, correct.
You’d ideally want it anyway, if you were to return to Azeroth after all?

20 days? Who told you that?
If you buy your lvl 60 mount in TBC don’t you save a few (hundred) G or am I wrong?

Yes you do need it; but I’m waiting now for tbc to hit now before I buy any more mounts as the price drop is considerable enough.

Dunno where you get 20 days from as it’s not official, just forum projected May 4th prepatch release

You don’t get flying until 70 and the first flying mount is only 60% speed so actually slower than your ground mount unless you’re flying over obstacles or up/down a hill etc.

You need the 100% ground mount training to be able to train flying also, but my point is you may as well buy the mount, you would farm the gold in the time you save from using a 60% ground mount to run around outland until 70.

ok so if you buy your epic mount before TBC and soulbind it, you get 100% training for free since it doenst exist in vanilla. you dont ACTUALLY need to buy any mount to get flying stuff, you just need the training. potentially you could simply learn all the running skill( apprentice, journeyman, expert, artisan) and then get an epic flying mount. you dont really need to buy the 60% groun, 100% ground and 60% flying mount. just the training.
