OK let’s call it progession.

We did not have RDF for the WOTLK progression.

Pre-patch - No RDF
Phase 1 naxx - No RDF
Phase 2 - Ulduar - No RDF
Phase 3 ToC - No RDF
Phase 4 ICC - RDF added to the game.

RDF was not part of the leveling experience or the major WOTLK experience or any progression. It was however part of all of Cata and all of the Cata leveling experience.

So I pointed that out. What was described as the the WOTLK leveling experience was in fact the Cata leveling experience. When we levelled and was progressing thought the WOTLK raids we did not have those things.

Also I use the word experience because that word was used in the post I commented on:

Indirectly yes. You are talking about features that made the “WOTLK leveling experience” when in fact the WOTLK leveling experience did not have those things you mention. Not until the end. Meanwhile Cata had that leveling experience. So I pointed that out. And that was how the discussion started.

Not sure what you are saying. We are still in phase 1 and everyone have been leveling in this phase.

We did not have a single one of those features you mention in phase 1 when everyone was leveling and having the leveling experience. RDF specifically was not added until the last phase and wasn’t part of the leveling experience or progression of that expansion.

I can’t see a single time you even mention alts in this thread directly or indirectly.

Anyway

Personally I would not describe leveling a bunch of alts at the end of an expansion as “the leveling experience” of that expansion. I have vivid memories of my leveling experience from WOTLK retail (including alts during progression) but I can’t remember a single alt I leveled in patch 3.3-3.3.5 and I know I leveled a bunch of them using RDF.
