I’m on the Battlenet launcher and it says WoW classic has an update, when i click the update button it says ‘Initializing’ then goes to ‘fetching patch manifest’ for a split second and then back to ‘Initializing’ and stops. Im unable to log into the game and play all i9 can do is click the ‘Update’ button.
I’ve also tried restarting the Battle net launcher.
Edit: I’ve just tried patching Hearthstone and that works fine so the problem is just with WoW Classic
I’m having the same issue. Sometimes it tries to update and then stops, other times it goes into a endless loop of updates (downloading always the same file, at least i think so since it has the same size for every download).
I can still play if i open the game from the file system C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft_classic_\Wow.exe
Try to run battle net as administrator or try to reinstall it. I had similar problem, sometimes run as admin works, but sometimes I need to reinstall battle net.
