Is there a clean vanilla database out there. I have tryed so many but they all shows like different stats on items. I realy want to find a DB that is as close as it gets to the real vanilla last patch before BC.
Because thats how it was patches constantly changeing stats on items .
Ya i know, thats why i am wondering if there is a pure vanilla DB, thats stops at BC
Blizzard’s got it. And they’re the only ones who do. Private servers have tried to replicate it using old Thottbot data, but haven’t managed it entirely.

Tried that but so many items was wrong.
vanillawowdb just found this, same patch as vanilla will be released with, maby this is the right one.
It’s inaccurate. We used an addon that tried to mine from the game via addons. Nobody did datamining like today.
So thats not accuate either?
There is no accurate DB of vanilla other than the one Blizzard has. And even that one is only 1.12. There is literally NO DB of 1.1. Anywhere.
But is not the new classic coming up using the 1.12?

Hmm, I wonder if WoWhead will be able to datamine classic. I mean if it’s using modern infrastructure I guess that would be possible? Wasn’t possible datamine vanilla. You literally had to have people run around and find stuff, which was actually really awesome, because Blizzard were teasing that they’d hidden a bunch of stuff and people were looking for it for years.
From what I’ve read, Classic is a back-port of old stats onto the new engine. It should, in theory, support all the datamining that is currently available.
(Plus have benefits like better cpu threading and higher graphics options. I’m totes fine with these things. Plus there’s probably a ton of tiny improvements to network code and similar that nobody notices, but which make a heck of a difference to our experience.)

Ya was stil hoping that data was stored somewere. Want to make guides but i dont want to give out false information. Havent played wow in since TBC witch i loved btw, just popped in when Panderia came out but kinda tought the game was ruined. So now i have been waiting for the vanilla but cant remember much of gear and sutch, but so exited that i want to make videos to get other people to play and get nostalgic as well. and i will be bringing my 10 year old son into it, wonder if he will get the same fealing i got… a fealing i have never had since then, the epic, hard fantastic game called wow.
