Good Morning Everyone. hope you are all well and staying safe.
After all the many iterations of the mission table, I never in a million years thought i would be making this post, as i have always hated this part of the game.
However, ill hold my hands up and say, i think blizz had made a great mobile game. I like how I know have to give thought to what i am doing, making sure i have healers, ranged etc.
When I’m not in game it gives me something to do while I’m walking around my house, or supposed to be cleaning.
So firstly, well-done blizzard!

But…
Its not very obvious that your using anima to power it, maybe i missed something, but i found myself for a 2 weeks away from wow and so i spent all that time sending missions, until i got a message saying all my anima been spent. . . . all that anima i was hoping to use in game on armor upgrades. silly me, o well back to farming some more anima i suppose, but it makes me more reluctant now to spend so much time on the app on a mission that is costs 30 anima a time, for some herbs or gear that isn’t an upgrade.

So my idea, a different currency just for the companion app, still collect in game, but for the sole purpose of being able to spend in the companion app, or even better just let us use our gold to send missions.
Now i know a lot of you will think “but wait super, we have so much gold would make it meaningless the items like herbs and cloth that you get from missions could just be brought from the AH”.

ok your right, but how about less resources on the app, and more things like pets, unique transmogs, or after 40 or 50 missions chance for a cool mount? i wouldn’t mind spending 1000 gold a time to hopefully get some cool stuff like that.

At moment, just doing dailys and selling my greys and doing repairs (cloth), I make around 3000 gold. So I could do 3 missions perhaps a day, if of course I didn’t want to make any gold in game, which perhaps I do from time to time.
But can you imagine if finally the mount quest came up, and you picked your squad to go do battle, there would be no skip to the end on that fight, i would watch all the way to end to find out result. and if you lose, well tough you should of planned more, maybe another unique mount quest will come a long soon. Back to the grind, would make them 1000xp quests more interesting.
Anyways, i love the new app, just not so happy about using anima to get 1000xp for my followers.

i mean honestly, it costs anima ingame and you thought just doing it on the app made it free?

The anima cost is stated very clearly on the button you press to start the mission on the app, it’s not hidden away.

I’d personally rather not have yet another currency to farm to deal with - I prefer the anima system of one currency for everything rather than BfA and Legions separate war/order hall resources and AP.

Alright Druids, calm down. i didn’t notice the blue icon was anima, again “silly me”
its just with the anima being such low resource in the game, does make me wonder why we would spend it on follower xp, or a create of herbs.
When if there was some other way to pay for it, would just complete an fantastic mobile app.

Personally I prefer the old app from a few years back where you could actually use the auction house. Now that was useful! I believe it was too easy to hack by bots though sadly.

Yea I miss the AH app.
Mum would tell me come off pc, so I could be a good boy and close down quickly… But then spend 20mins on phone doing all my AH items. Ah good times?

I used to sit in the pub & do my AH dtuff on A saturday afternoon waiting for my friends to turn up :slight_smile:
