WoW Companion App Retiring

Old news but, why…

Now we need this WoW AH app more than ever when we got an acc-wide bank.

Now we can sell stuff while we are at work from our phones.
I put everything earned from my characters in the WB and then I want to sell it in AH while Im at work 8 hours a day. Mostly the PvP stuff.

I’m guessing here but I would presume it had a negative impact on the economy

I think theese guys not have phones…

Your boss wants you to focus exclusively on your work during those eight hours. And apparently now Blizzard also agrees with your boss.

My boss asked me if i had my phone in my pocket at work the other day.

I just looked at him and said " yes, do you need to make a phonecall?" :joy:

He wasent best pleased.

Only Blizzard knows why and we can only speculate.

It could be low usage, so no point maintaining it or the cost of keeping it running.

It could be because they want you to actually log into the game to make their numbers look better and the perception of the community being larger.

I doubt there are any exploits or game breaking stuff happening in it as they would either shut it down immediately or patch it, so doubt it is related to that.

But whatever the reason, I can’t see them changing their minds.

good
having access to the wow economy on a mobile app while the game isn’t designed for mobile devices yet is extremely flawed and I will not say terrible design because impressive that it works but it was a really bad idea

Im from Bulgaria. We dont have bosses in here. We are just put on a job and you are “working for 8 hours”. We work on our phones for 8 hours. I play mostly Diablo Immortal. Too bad we dont have WoW on phones or more in-game apps.
