They made a console (they call that) that will able to run WoW, and many other pc game, thats the point.

It is just another dividing line between playerbase, nothing to be worried about.
I’m not worried at all.
More players = More subs = More profit = More development (hopefully).
If the higher ups realise it’s a big fat cash cow, then they’ll be happy to pour more money and development time into it.
If other games like OSRS is anything to go by anyways. Only time will tell.
I mean sure its fine and all if they would try make game more accessible for new players but I think this has more to do with money if they get consoles on board in the game aswell and it might also come with the expense of too few buttons gameplay in PvP example. I didn’t buy to it that its just for the good of us that after 20 years its now announced to remove addons or simplify my classes via prune a lot of my spells, so now it makes sense to me. Not keen on seeing designing or tuning made for console gaming either if I’m playing it on pc with keyboard and mouse.

Other games like Overwatch and Diablo have the ability to choose to play with console. I assume it’ll be the same for WoW.

I really want to see a guy doing like 21s with a steering wheel, it would be hilarious.
I don’t think that’s any time soon, but some people are really kidding themselves if they think the game will survive another decade on the current dwindling playerbase without the game slowly drifting into maintenance mode, or going F2P.
Massive changes are required, and I’m all for a shakeup.

I think the fact people have clinged onto that pathetic statement from a single person for nearly 10 years just goes to show how childish the playerbase is tbh. And a lot of these people are in their 30’s+. Comical.
