WoW crashing MacBook Pro (Sequoia 15.1.1)

Hello!

Since my Macbook Pro updated to Sequoia 15.1.1, retail WoW has been locking it up and causing “your computer restarted because of a problem” restarts. Usually the crash happens on the Warband screen, occasionally it struggles through and I’m able to log in for around 10 minutes of gameplay before the computer locks up, crashes, and retarts.

MacBook Pro, 2019
Processor: 1,4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB
Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
MacOS: Sequoia 15.1.1 (24B91)

I’ve run diagnostics on my machine and received code ADP000 (no issues detected).

I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps Blizz suggests, including reinstalling the game entirely. No change.

I’ve played on this machine since I purchased it in 2020 with no problems and it’s completely unplayable right now, so I’m really hoping there’s a solution out there.

My friend been there for over 1 year thinking my MacBook Pro 2019 was burned. Could not play the game, freeze, crash, unable to load warband, etc…

All fixed with bootcamp/windows…
Ridiculous I would say…

Exactly the same problem here. Not sure if its a Mac problem, or a recent WOW update/patch, either way, this is not the first time it happens. It still works on my PC though, however, its a PC, not a laptop… considering to get a Windows Laptop…
