The textures on hair and armor isn’t very good in ff14 though. Look at Aymeric for example. Or just any hairstyle textures

I don’t mind the armor that much. But I agree for the hair. Still the overall graphics are neat.

That… that was not development… That was "this thing happens, then wait a year and play for another one till you learn why it happened’…
It’s not development, it’s a shock factor bait & hook. It works in tv series, doesn’t change the fact it’s not been developed. It may be, it may be scrapped (like alot of things in WoW) but it’s not as of now.
I wouldn’t call WoW an MMORPG any more, it doesn’t have anything with RPG to do any more. Everything we relate to RPG is gone in WoW.
WoW is more an action oriented MMO, on rail. You do what the developers say, when they say it’s OK to do that content. You pick the spells they’ve said is OK for you to use, choose the talent they’ve specified for you and subsequently the rotation they’ve plotted out for you. So you’ve got no personal choice what so ever, and that is in my opinion the core of any RPG, to make the journey your choice.
