Agreed with the points given.
However I do find the Raiding experience to be the king of Mmorpgs.

It is locked behind the instances. Imagine a single instance in entire world that is mutual for everyone from certain server - just like L2.

FFXIV: you need to like jrpgs and anime to enjoy this game. So it’s a no no for me.

I have noticed that ppl tend have this kinda problem. But for the new generation, (like me) this is a great game…
It’s only great, if you take your time leveling and seeing the world.

ESO: f*** that game. It’s a solo rpg with online elements. Quests take way too long since every NPC is talking about his entire life when you pick up quests. Also the community is even worse than in WoW. I joined low level dungeons and got kicked more than once for whatever reason. I suspect because i was new and low level…lol. Also you don’t really grind for gear in that game. You have a set and it stays with you for several months. You grind Paragon levels instead. Combat feels weird and floaty.

This is 100% true, as a veteran ESO player. Its even worse than WoW or any mmorpg in the market. PvP is great but it does have performance issues.

ESO does a lot of things better than WoW, but it is almost unplayable at times because of horrible performance, and the developer team has absolutely no clue what they are doing right now when it comes to balancing.

It has a lot of potential, but as long as they don’t fix some of all those issues with the game, it’s not worth playing. There are even some issues that according to them, they are unable to fix. An example of this is the ‘stuck in combat’ glitch in Cyrodiil, which has plagued the game for years.

A lot of people are underestimating how stable WoW is, and I wish that more MMOs were this stable when it came to performance.

And the fact that mentioning DPS is bannable is a good thing, It’s something Yoshi P always said your DPS depends on your knowledge of the job.

Everytime someone mentioned my DPS beign too low or when a Healer / tank claimed to have a bigger DPS than me I reported them because it ruins the fun of the game.

So you are part of the problem that actually plague FFXIV. Thankfully since the “wow refugees” era the quality of dungeoning and raiding slightly improved in FF, since these people actually care about performing and managing their classes.
Meanwhile leeches like you make the runs a slog for 3 /7 other people because “muh fun”.

Yeah, I do remember that a game is fun and not a competition everytime.

Beside I’m still a good DPS with my main jobs.

Here is the thing, after talking with a few FF Guilds & players, most of them told me they were WoW refugees, and most of them told me how toxic this community was and how nice and friendly the FF community currently is.

So if I must take 20 min for a Trial instead of 10 but I have fun, whatever I’m ok with it.

FFXIV - Not a multiplayer game in my opinion
Have no idea about GW2 / Swtor / BDO
But wow is in my heart and it always will thats why we love it

how are the graphics outdated, when wow has an timeless look? sure the other games look “more real”. but that was never ment for wow. i think wow has one of the best graphics in any mmorpg for what it was made for. especialy in bfa. i dont like ultra realistic looks.

Does it matter. The Devs know the players are many and they only play wow. So, they don’t bother innovativing their damn pixelated game to HD, as long as revenue is generated.

So, the company that does such things is blizzard. Exploit their player base to the extreme. While, ESO( ZOS and Bethesda) are holding their beer to blizzard.

Umm… u not seen the Diablo 3 Memes on the guy?.. he defintly worked on Diablo 3… i dont know if he did become a Encounter designer… but i do know Some of his orginal Work was Done by proving C’Tun was Mathmatically impossible for players to defeat back in Vanilla

Think you are confusion Ion with Jay Wilson,who did work on Legion for a bit,then they sacked him since he is a terrible dev.Ruined D3 and everything he added in legion with his left over D3 possie was horrible for WoW.

but if he was tbh, my orginal point does still stand, he was not apart of class Development back in Classic nor was he apart of the decisions made on the Class… but the three i mentioned were Lead Designers and were the people putting those aspects together.

The dmg tools themselves are not banned(well more like not specificaly allowed either haha ). You can track and improve your own performance. As long as you keep it for personal use, nobody will come looking for you with pitchforks or anything
