The FF comunity is 99% oversensitive petulant weebs. No thanks, WoW has one of the best online communities by far.
As long as i have fun ill play it. when the fun wont exist. i wont play it anymore.
I played FFXIV,ESO,SWTOR (from the 1st day!) but noone could stand as long as WOW.
Not the worst mmorpg at all.
Mounts, achievements, pets, transmog sets are all there. Also Timewalking.
It is called World of WARcraft, yes either PvP or PvE, fighting is the main way to go. But if you wish to harm no living pixels pet battles, AH game, RP are all there for you.
Gearing, unlocking power in HoA, collections and achievements.
Not sure what you mean, while you lvl up you learn the basics of your toon in easy content, character development is the leveling it’s self, as for lore read the damn quest texts to begin with…
There are pretty fun quests in WoW, apparently some will be “Go kill x boars”
What???
DX12
They used to do better, Shadowlands shows they try to do it again.
People have been saying that for almost 15 years as well.
And they will continue to tell it even when it turns into a large monster. With a money symbol as it’s banner.
From WOTLK and up, marketing people and accountants took over and are now calling the shots for retail. There is no going back from it, its doomed in to an existence of instant gratification and absolute ease of access.
This is why classic is so immensely popular. Vanilla was made by people who had a vision and wanted to make a really god damn cool game.
How is this possible to feee such an obvious troll ?
16/20 well done !
@title: Quite the opposite.
I’m not saying that WoW in its current form is the best game ever, but it offers so much more than all the other mmorpgs out there that it isn’t even a competition. WoW is in a league of its own; and then there’s all the other mmorpgs.
But what fun is to group up with people, who cannot be bothered to be part of team ? This is exactly what FF seems to encourage - the ‘special snowflake’ culture and while I really dont even care of ‘others dps’ in wow, I do not like this FF attitude either. Its like going other extreme.
It’s a hybrid game and master to non but outdated with coat of HD skins that make it look fugly.
Hybrid: PvE and PvP are ok-ish decent at times.
PvE master game, FFxiv
PvP master game, BDO and maybe ESO ( without lags, crashes and running simulator)
When those on RP Realms complained about Sharding ruining immersion in their cities, because people were disappearing mid conversation just because someone somewhere else logged on. They listened pretty quickly, as it happens, and put in mechanics to make sure that RP Realms were treated differently in that regard.
Or when the Backlash against No Flying Ever in WoD started to turn people off, Blizzard listened then, and again, pretty quickly, by implementing the Pathfinder system, That was largely forum generated as well…
I think you may be looking at some of these other MMORPG’s with a slight case of bias against Blizzard, if you think WoW is the worst one on the market…I mean…It Really isn’t…
That’s highly subjective though. I think WoW’s art often looks better than other more advanced games.
I disagree. I tried that game and absolutely hated it. It was awful.
I don’t like PvP and I wouldn’t count ESO as one; a hybrid sure. I played BDO; like FF I thought it was awful. ESO wasn’t bad but never managed to keep me engaged for very long and I’ve tried multiple times because I want to love that game, but I just can’t get past the friend zone, so to speak.
Then your statement is also subjective as well.
That’s because you didn’t have the patience to play it slowly. I am not a veteran FFXIV player but I love the game and community. I have a guild that’s supportive and nice. They offer me invited to raids, at times clear content against their schedules.
The game is attractive, innovative and you can see the motivation as well as Passion involved in that game from the Devs to the community.
If you don’t see it, then it’s your choice.
I guess, I mentioned this perviously that i am veteran ESO player. I know how cool and at times addictive ESO PvP is…
It was one of my fav game in the market, what took me off that game is the balance changes ever 3 months, crashes, lags and more balance degradation.
People are different - you see I find ESO one of the worst MMO’s I’ve ever played. My 1st reaction to the game was that I thought it was a joke.
If I get to Goldshire I see worgen ERPing with gnomes, doesn’t mean y’all are Furries.
all is subjective…
Even yours is…subjective.
Everybody’s opinion is subjective your point?
Yes. we dont exists :DD
It’s the Matrix we don’t exist .
