Also sorry to burst your “argument” but Mickey Mouse is a trademark of Disney. the only thing Disney owns is Mickey’s likeness. Its why You have the likes of Jerry from Tom n Jerry cartoons.
But do provide us with a histrionical youtube op-ed from some “know it all”, or to be more precise, “knows sod all”, with how Warner bros didn’t steal its ideas from Disney etc or whatever ridiculous and utterly inconsequential piece of youtube clickbait you chose to fixate on today.
Like I said. nothing beats a good conspiracy theory on a drab Monday morning.
But do carry on thinking that WoW has been the only thing in the world to “steal” ideas from other games. Most entertaining thing on a drab Monday morning is a good ol’ conspiracy theory.
WHAT??!!. I’ve tried to read this at least six times and each time I have to take an ibuprofen.
Weirdos that’d play a game called ‘‘Garbage Waste’’, I guess?
I think she’s referring to certain rideable vehicles that are exactly the same as regular mounts, but given abilities. But they’re not mounts, they’re unique vehicles designed differently.
You don’t, but others do.
The level of mental gymnastics your doing to fight for your failed agreement is only boring.
The truth is that WoW had tech first, but only didn’t use it in that capacity.
So, the empty claim that garbage waste 2 is somehow been wronged by WoW is just people uhappy that stole its thunder like you even though WoW had that tech before Garbage Waste 2.
I dunno why it keeps linking guild wars 2 videos, I haven’t played it… Far as I know Guild wars 2 could have maroon gibbons riding manatees while playing a violin.
If I wanted to see maroon gibbons riding manatees while playing the violin I’d go play it??
if Blizzard decides to add green-coloured baboons riding camels while playing the guitar I suppose I would be…
Not bothered where it came from, I’d only be here for the green baboons riding a camel while playing a guitar.
Guild Wars 2 have dragonriding, and it works very similar to WoWs dragonriding, and it was added years before WoW did it. Some people are saying Blizzard stole it from GW2, which they most certainly did.
However, name a company that hasn’t stolen ideas from other popular games. And not just that - WoW (and most other fantasy settings) ‘‘stole’’ from J. R. R. Tolkien.
And guess what? Tolkien ‘‘stole’’ from many different places for Lord of the Rings. Dwarves are all based on Norse Mythology, for example - and every dwarven name except ‘‘Kili’’ and ‘‘Fili’’ (Iirc) are all taken from Norse Mythology as well! EVen the name Gandalf!
I understand that after WoW stole its thunder Garbage Waste 2 is left with nothing, but a bad story and outdated gameplay, but doesn’t reflect on you if you don’t pretend otherwise.
But I would still love to know why Blizzard “stealing” dragon riding from guild wars 2 or Garbage waste 2 or Garden Waterbarrels 2 or Grand Wizard 2 or whatever is such a bad thing.
Which was my original point lol. Oh well. I’m off to play some game that has copied ideas from another game that has copied ideas from another game that has copied ideas from another game that has copied ideas from another game continues ad infinitum
(bonus point for the use of Latin phrase for “infinity” which is also an item in Guild Wars 2 apparently)
Ah, yes, you are going with it is not the same color so it is different, then WoW didn’t steal dragon riding because it different and WoW is the first to do it. Both ways WoW did it before Garbage Waste 2.
Did you read it somehow in a wrong and opposite way?
But they still fascination the same. So, your argument still ends with a limbo position were in one case WoW’s dragon riding is unique does not stolen, because vehicle were different because you could ride them out side quests and instances. Or they are the same, but that makes vehicles the same does WoW did it before.
There is only one dragonriding in WoW, and that’s the one in Dragon Isles.
The vehicles from quests are not dragonriding.
Except it doesnt, as they function differently - and in many cases the vehicles arent controlled by players except the abilities themselves.
My argument ain’t in limbo. You just have such a deep seethed hatred for Guild Wars 2 (since you never call it anything but ‘‘Garbage Waste 2’’), that you REFUSE to tolerate the idea that Blizzard stole dragonriding from Guild Wars 2.
But there are vehicle that faction the same and they came before the garbage waste 2.
And dragon riding has differences on the level of different name and not being able to be used outside of quests and instances.
