WoW does not track my kills anymore, it worked 7 levels, then something happened, don’t know if it bugged with arena que popping, while questing, or it was caused by handynotes, cause I activated it like 30 minutes before. BUT I disabled my whole addons, deleted them, started game new, same issue. 0/12 units killed, when I slay one down. Also the items I loot 0/6 do not count.
I also deleted my whole cache folder, nothing changed. relogged, restarted wow.
what else can I do? how the f… this even happened or can happen? please help. never had that issue…
ADDED:
I changed Interfacem WTF and CACHE and renamed them. Game runs completely without anything right now, still the quests do not count kills. wtf is this? any ideas plz?
Seems to happen only with my ret in the dragonflight area… but it worked before. logged on low level char there the kills count normaly. but other region cause low lvl.
Thanks a lot. I forgot to think about the raid thing issue. cause yeah you are right, raid cancels every XP gained or possibility to quest I remember?
The strange thing is, I logged out like 5 times and closed the game fully. So it should leave the grp automaticly? Or nah you stay like 5 mins still in grp or?
I was offline now 3 hours, checked if I am in grp, I was not, and now the quests count again… So yeah maybe I was still in a grp after the battleground? could have been a bug?
Could have been a bug, i have had that happen before where i was in a group, left it or every one else did and the group disabandoned but the game still thinks i am in it. No party frames show up and there’s no visable sign you are in a group other than not getting quest credit all of a sudden.
Sometimes the option on the right click menu didn’t even show but the the command that Grelier posted above was what fixed it for me in the past so if you encounter it again i’d suggest trying that. You could even save it to a macro so it’s easy to find in future. I actually have it on my action bars as it’s easier to just click a button than right click the menu and find the leave option every time you want to leave a group.
You have to be logged out for quite some time before you get removed from any groups - a short logout doesn’t remove you from the group so that you can easily recover from an unintended DC.
Okay. Yeah strange that this still happens… first time had that. but to be honest I had 1 year break of wow. I will save that makro and am glad that I posted it. Maybe it will also help other if it is that common.
