normally it just checks for drivers, addons etc
It looks like you’ve installed WoW inside your battle net folder. This has historically caused problems. Don’t do this. Make sure they’re not inside each others folders. I doubt this is the problem in this case but it will cause issues.
If you re-install, install the game in C:\Users\Public\Games, not C:\Games.
So normally, after my logs should be entries about the Graphic Settings, which seems to be blocked by something.
Log of a friend:
2/13 18:21:51.032 < IsGPUDriverOutOfDate> No
— I am stucked here —
2/13 18:21:51.032 Detected Graphics Defaults: 7 (CPU = 7, GPU = 7, MEM = 7) WindowSize: 1920x1080
2/13 18:21:51.032 GxLowLatencyMode: None
2/13 18:21:51.136 Render Settings Changed. New Render Size: 1920x1080
2/13 18:21:51.136 GxLowLatencyMode: Reflex+Boost
2/13 18:21:55.468 Render Settings Changed
From my understanding, The detection of the Graphic Defaults is not being applied here. I resettet the settings of wow in Battlenet multiple times. This seems to delete the config.wtf from the WTF folder. But still it is not loading this settings.
Wondering if this is blocked for some reason.
The firewall or anything seems not to be the case. Looking at the procmonitoring, wow is only opening one connection to telemetry server and keeps that open. Nothing is building other connections (at that point).
have you tried deleting the WTF to see if that helps?
or maybe just rename it to something like WTFold
i know this might be a longshot but worth a try at least
i really dont have any idea left tbh so again i am sorry that i can’t be more helpfull.
Yes - I tried this multiple times. I even started to remove files and let them be repaired.
Created another technical case with Blizzard, hope someone can look into this.
At this point, i am clueless. I basically removed everything and still, the data is not loaded.
I would need to know, what actually is happening at that point of failure and scrolling through the process monitoring is not pretty helpful at this point.
