What exacly wow folder should be? Mine atm has 96.5 GB it should be like that or something is wrong with that size
The recent patch download for 8.1 was 16GB - triple+ the size of the 7.1 and other content patches. The patch is the size of an expansion release.
However if you read over at the US forums (and here) many people are suggesting this isn’t solely because of the new content (because really there isn’t that much), but more so new systems changes on how the game can use your CPU and what not.
It’s expected on patch night when the servers go down, the battle.net app will overwrite a lot of the current files and “reclaim” your diskspace (the actual patch, as in content probably is no more than a 2gb patch, or less given 7.1’s content and it was only 2.4gb).
As to your folder size, mine is currently 71gb (over the limit for the recommended size to have available for BfA…). Apparently some Windows 10 versions don’t read the correct amount of storage, or so I heard. But yes, yours is overly large.
