WoW Freezes (Not Responding), when changing zones or loading

Ever since the Remix, I’ve been experiencing huge lag and program freeze, when I was flying from zone to zone or loading character list / into the game / and lately, when I try playing ingame cinametics. The game just freezes, stops responding and from that come three results. Either the game starts going again after 10-60 seconds, or windows tells me to close the game, because its dead, or it disconnects me.

I dont have any performance issues either. The game runs smoothly at 60 fps on 7/10 graphics, but when it’s loading something, it decides to freeze and not respond.

I already tried: Updating Drivers, Scanning and Repairing the game files, deleting cache and WTF, Shutting down addons, changing DirectX, putting graphics on minimum. None of this helped.

My Specs:
Intel(R) Core™ i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

It has become really irritating as of late. If you have any idea on how to fix this, please.

Is the game installed to an SSD drive or HDD?

When running the game, and going from zone to zone, what is the RAM used % like within task manager?

Press Win + R, type eventvwr
Expand Windows Logs on the left menu and look at System and Application. Do you see any errors in there around the times it crashes?

You can see the event cause when you click on the event (error will be red icon ones) it will show description under it. Also, there will be a column called Source.

With that in mind, and still within event viewer:

  1. Are there any Wow.exe or DirectX related events?
  2. Any Disk events?
  3. Any nvlddmkm events?
  4. Any Tcpip or Dhcp events?

Sorry for all the questions, will try help where I can!
