Ever since I installed WoW on a brand new SSD the game freezes randomly for about 5 seconds or the sound and animations lag for about the same amount of time(regardless of graphic settings, both on dx11 or dx12).
Note: I am running a rig which consists of I7 3930k, 16gb ram, Radeon RX480(with updated drives) and a 750 W PSU
This may be stupid or weird but you are sure your addons are optimal and up to date?
Not stupid or weird at all, i initially thought that as well. So i removed ALL addons. Still same issue
Is your OS up to date? How about your system drivers?
Im gonna do that now see if it helps. Also i have another game on that ssd seems to be running fine(so i doubt its the ssd’s fault).
OK, so the system update made them less frequent. Although i do have to say something, browsing through device manager and looking at all my drives i noticed that the new ssd(even though is working normally) has the so called event “Device not migrated”… could this be an issue(keep in mind my other game on the drive works perfectly, and no i dont have the os installed on the new drive nor did i ever have it, keeping it for games only)
