Wow has been adapted to children

Was mainly pointed towards the fact that people pulled the exact same remark about Pandaria. And Pandarias storyline wasnt exactly cuddly.

That we all knew and loved!

Yep, time marches on and it would dumb if they did not try to capture a new younger market. Its how any business works that wants to survive, they have to adapt and change.

Don’t forget that the same was said about MoP - and it ended up being an all time favorite expansion with the adults, despite cute furry panda bears running around in armor.

This, and if I like it I might actually try and play Pandaria, even if only for a fren’s sake.

And the visuals of the game are fine, if everything was bloody many could feel uncomfy playing. There’s a limited amount of gore (mainly in certain Wotlk content, like their corpse explosion in Classic or a mammoth exploding quest where you see a lot of ripped off insides) and that’s a fine limit by me.

If I wanna play something scary, there’s Outlast and parts of Fallout, maybe a modded CoD.

When they merge us into one faction and everyone suddenly becomes ripe for the picking, you are going to the top of my hunting list.

I was going to say, people rage quit over Panda’s and it turned out to be a good expansion in the end.

Comparing the first WoW trailer with this one, you can see the first was a combo between Dungeons and Dragons and Metal. The last trailer for the upcoming expansion is full Disney.

Warcraft has always been a kid friendly medival fantasy genre. Blizzard’s medival fantasy genre not kid friendly is called Diablo.

MoP was the last best hope of this game. We should skip over Cata and combine MoP + Legion + Wrath and fuse them together and just add tiers new gear and talents and make game world alive until WW3.

That’s a great name for a dungeon/raid boss :laughing::laughing:

I have only one thing to say, if people want gory dark emo stuff, go play Conan exiles, or Elderscrols online, they suit you more.

I lied I have 2 things to say hehe, but then again, every time wow has a new expac, the doomsayer, emo karens, and dudes whit no chest hair comes out and cries, that it is to much for children, even if they look like big babies them selfs.

No thanks, I like my disney WoW. Bye bye!

Nothing wrong with bright colours and a bit of hope after years of war.

After reading your post I’m quite happy you did not.

The word cliché comes to mind.

I go to SWTOR for the dark side :stuck_out_tongue:
You should try the same. Compliments this game kinda well.

That’s not what’s being said. The guy did say it’s not a dark fantasy game and that’s true, it’s a fantasy game that has dark elements in it.

I guess you just wanted to rant about no chest hair, to what? Imply you got chest hair?

The cinematic is terrible. It’s basically a Horde and an Alliance dicking around their dragons in friendship and sunshine, which is odd, but ok, it’s been 5 years, then the bad guy goes BOOO! Everyone is scared, but nothing happens and then the good guy comes and makes magic. That’s it. It’s too DISNEY!

Nobody says you are not supposed to like it and nobody says they are supposed to like it. The forums are here to discuss our likes and dislikes, not listen to you rant about what you think the people who post might look like so you can insult them. Grow up.

It was a really fun and engaging cinematic. I loved watching the Zandalari and Dwarf race each other! Honestly we don’t always need FEL, DEATH, VOID.

Also it’s a perfect nod to the cross faction play that has recently come about, and the soon to be cross faction guilds. Maybe the dwarf and troll are guild mates of the future? Why should Thrall and Jaina have all the fun?

Honestly after Shadowlands, what we need is some COLOUR, LIFE and most of all… FUN!

I really take issue with the ‘designed for children’ - that in itself is such an infantile take. There is nothing wrong with appealing to a wider audience. There are plenty of advanced areas of the game that appeal to different audiences and those who enjoy numbers and spreadsheets. Let the cinematic be fun and engaging!

P.s first time we saw a female dwarf in a cinematic and I’m happy :grinning:

SWTOR is a game with a cold and grim ambiance. WoW is not, wow has a very colorful ambiance, diverse. One of the things I love about it. But this… this was just weak. They could have done much better, MUCH better. But I guess we’ll see what comes next.

I agree its kinda cold and grim, but in a good way. Love both games for the contrast. I get more immersed in SWTOR though.

Wrong. You must kill them before they see you.
