WoW has too much of everything

I havent even touched the tip of a ice burg and i feel like im already challenging the rock of this subject.

So WoW has allot of quests, i mean, yellow exclamation mark’s everywhere in the azeroth and outside of it. So you will have allot of options to choose on, what type of quest route you want to go trough and what type of content you want to experience.
but
I have a feeling, that when you make too much of something, you must cut something, and i feel like, that is quality.
quantity over quality should be warcrafts motto.

Now, you have two factions and both of them have allot of quests, i googled and thats about 20,000 quests. If you are going to have 20k quests, you will loose creativity and will reuse old assets or ideas to make more quests and some quests might get buggy or unplayable over the years.
This is a wet dream for completionist and nothing more for casuals or people who want to get to max level.

I mean, you always need to make new mechanics to please the players and fans, but the problem is when, when you make too many mechanics, you make too many ways of borrowed power, you make too many daily activities that are not shared between accounts or just drown the classes with abilities that the classes never use.

:ringer_planet: The world :ringer_planet: I think wow can be really beautiful in some aspects, and down right blast from the past with low poly buildings and untouched characters, not sure how good it is when some are really low rez and some are overtuned.
its like if you combined something from final fantasy online and something from runescape.
I guess people wont care in the long run but, small graphical overhaul would be kinda nice, nothing too impressive but small improvements over time.

. . . They actually have, they acknowledge that the leveling progress needed to change and they changed it to slightly better direction,
But you still have massive amounts of untouched quests in the game, so some people may complete all of them, some may skip half of them, i think its good to keep them in the game but i think some type of quest line would be helpful, because the old quests right now split to two different directions which split more along the way, so its kinda difficult to know, which to focus on.

But otherwise, i think its going to better direction.

They were made over the 16 year lifespan of the game they weren’t made in a couple of years.

There’s also many people who make the quests and likely many fresh faces. Contrary to popular belief it’s not just the big name devs who make the game.

Well ill be honest.
I have never heard anybody in my life, use word Dujour and the definition that i googled, was kinda confusing, as english is not my native language.

Okay so.
The quests, i do believe that its not just two people making the quests, but most quests are just filler, when in reality you could make the whole story of warcraft much more progressive while skipping few missions about sedating raptors and collecting plants now and than.
There is nothing wrong about making the game cleaner, so the important story of the game could become more defined.

I do believe that blizzard improves wow every expansion but, when the throne in stormwind has same amount of texture space and polygons as a broom, we both know that, at least main capitals of alliance and horde could be more beautiful to the eye.

And please read the whole thing, i feel like you skipped allot.

I see no trolling here I just see feedback and an opinion.
Some valid points there, I agree with the questing being at the point of “scraping from the bottom of the barrel”.

They should just revert the graphics back to how they were in Vanilla, thry lookef way better and had a feel to them.

I tend to disagree, what we have to remember is the age of the game. So although I do realise that sometimes for new players the amount of quests can seem daunting and confusing, for seasoned players it can also be fun and nostalgic. I recently levelled some characters and did some old areas I hadn’t done in a long time and remembered how enjoyable they were.

A really funny questline and one I personally love, would be sad if they removed it.

I hope not, again it’s nostalgia for me, I personally like to go back every so often and refresh my memory, have fun in old expansions.

And here is the difficulty, not sure how they could change it.

I am not going to mix myself in this conversation but 1 thing i do know:
people tend to only react to what they want to.
I dont know if its just these forums or if they are also like this in real life.

I do it sometimes in real life but just to keep my anger in check because if i dont well then i would have had many fights over my many years XD

i agree that some type of graphical standard would be nice, either really good or really classic, because it gives a theme to the game.

That is true, it would be really difficult to do it, but blizzard as a big company, could range the final part of every quest, to link to new area which links to another zone.
kinda like 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10
but if you decide to lets say, go to zone 6 and skipped rest, you would still go the path of 7.8.9.10

yeah it happens sometimes.
