I havent even touched the tip of a ice burg and i feel like im already challenging the rock of this subject.
(QUESTS)
So WoW has allot of quests, i mean, yellow exclamation mark’s everywhere in the azeroth and outside of it. So you will have allot of options to choose on, what type of quest route you want to go trough and what type of content you want to experience.
but
I have a feeling, that when you make too much of something, you must cut something, and i feel like, that is quality.
quantity over quality should be warcrafts motto.
Now, you have two factions and both of them have allot of quests, i googled and thats about 20,000 quests. If you are going to have 20k quests, you will loose creativity and will reuse old assets or ideas to make more quests and some quests might get buggy or unplayable over the years.
This is a wet dream for completionist and nothing more for casuals or people who want to get to max level.
[MECHANICS]
I mean, you always need to make new mechanics to please the players and fans, but the problem is when, when you make too many mechanics, you make too many ways of borrowed power, you make too many daily activities that are not shared between accounts or just drown the classes with abilities that the classes never use.
The world
I think wow can be really beautiful in some aspects, and down right blast from the past with low poly buildings and untouched characters, not sure how good it is when some are really low rez and some are overtuned.
its like if you combined something from final fantasy online and something from runescape.
I guess people wont care in the long run but, small graphical overhaul would be kinda nice, nothing too impressive but small improvements over time.
Blizzard
Will blizzard ever change their overly massive game?
. . . They actually have, they acknowledge that the leveling progress needed to change and they changed it to slightly better direction,
But you still have massive amounts of untouched quests in the game, so some people may complete all of them, some may skip half of them, i think its good to keep them in the game but i think some type of quest line would be helpful, because the old quests right now split to two different directions which split more along the way, so its kinda difficult to know, which to focus on.
But otherwise, i think its going to better direction.
expect borrowed power and mechanics. . . .
