I was surrounded with highly negative feedback about evokers. Everything seemed bad about them - their appearence, mechanics and skills. But when I tried… Idk why but when I saw photos of evokers they seemed awfull like everybody say. In game they are looking much better for me. And devastation and preservation are my new main specs now, theyre very cool. My expectations are really broken with reality. And its wonderfull! The only thing is how devastation will work in pvp… I didnt try yet and I wont because sl systems arent off yet and gearing is still weird.

I’m glad you like the class. I hated it. And I found most of the Dracthyr animation horrendous. For most of the starter zone I didn’t even feel like I was playing WoW.
No… This class and this race is NOT for me. Which is fine. Like I said; I’m glad you like it.
Will you still like it in a year though; that’s the real test.

Evokers the best race and class introduced to WoW yet,
Go back to legion, lots of people who didnt like DH did the same.
Go Back to wotlk, lots of people who didnt loke dk said the same time.
With new classes / races generally a portion of the audience will be upset, and generally unhappy players are louder then happy ones.
Its easy from a outside point of view to see it as people say however alot of Content creators were saying how amazing the class is for a while now.

Tbh as a beta tester ive been playing the class alot longer, and my love for the class hasnt even flickered slightly. Not redoing everything, not having to start one from scratch.

Personally don’t care for it but glad some people like it. I suppose you will see more negative posts, then positive ones cause the people that enjoy it at playing and not hanging out on the forums.

Preservation is so good… But this post is mostly about devastation because preservation is already mostly getting positive feedback and supposed to be s-tier in pvp and m+ (dont know about raids). On the other side, devastation gets too much hate. There can be a lot of sides of spec be better but I really enjoy that gameplay while seeing that especially gameplay part of devo is hated by big plast of players.
I find them flashy but booring and worst hero class ever released.
They dont hold a candle to dk or dh

DKs were horrendously OP for what felt like forever.
The real test with Evokers will be in December when we get the first raid numbers in.

Definitely one of my favourite classes they ever introduced.
Everything feels incredible impactful… Rescue is amazing, Echo is amazing, Time Dilation feels very strong, Rewind is absolutely insane. All heals feel very punchy, and it’s nice that you can use Dream Breathe empowerment 1 and turn it into a long lasting HoT, or hold it down fully and it’s more of a strong direct heal.
So many different decisions to make for different types of play. I can’t wait to see it in arena. Their utility and mobility seems absolutely incredible.

Yes but people used to call it braindead and called people who played it noobs etc etc.
I dont think evoker willl be as popular as DH, there are less caster fans in the game melee is generally quite abit more popular
The class is fine, the character models are an absolute joke and don’t fit.
It’s as jarring as an amazing piece of digital art then someone’s pasted in some clip art from word 98.
The only thing I dislike is how they run. It’s clearly animation borrowed from female Draenei, but for some reason on Evokers it just looks really clunky and shoddy.
Aside from that, absolutely love them. They’re the reason I’ve started logging in again.
Although it would be nice to have a bit more detail into how Deathy created them, a bit more lore specifics in the starting zone.
