Wow in game should be darker at night

It might be me, because I’m tired, but - what are you trying to say here?

I would love proper night and I love the day/night cycle in WoW.

They have made some improvements so that it looks like there are effects from lights/torches etc at night but they could go further with it in my opinion.

Of course those that don’t want it that dark should be able to disable the effects.

I mean at night it is hard to get if pieces match each other.

that is to dark.

I always thought they should add the inky black potion effect as an optional graphics setting.
Also has retail dumbed down the weather? Since playing classic I’ve noticed many weather effect I feel like I don’t see in retail anymore.

Finally a post I can agree on. They should also add stronger weather.

Yeah, i just love when it’s raining in Dazar’ alor, but it’s so rare. More weather effects + high intensify and not dependand on real season.
When i saw that snowy Arathi Basin i was like “WTF I love how it looks”.

keeping the potion up 24/7 is boring, I really wish we could get a toggle for darker nights, it wouldn’t be hard, also the graphics for the night presented by the potion are old :frowning:

It also carries on in the day cycle so that kind of makes it meh.

yes please blizz

I support this if and only if players are given the option to change their offset to the time of day.

Almost all my play time is after 6pm. I barely get to see WoW in its own daylight, and I really don’t want to get home from work in winter, when it’s dark outside and - oh, dark in the game too. Feels like a recipe for seasonal depression.

OTOH, to my knowledge there is no mechanical difference to the game depending on the time of day. It’s all visual flavour; so why not allow players to choose an offset, or even fix the time of day, such that we get to play in our preferred lighting conditions, be it noon, midnight, or sunrise?
