Best?
Don’t think we are playing the same game
The WOD was superb
Legion was ok
The BFA was really good
Shadowlands was really good
DF is super bad and extremely boring

But we probably all have our own opinions about things, and that’s only good

April Fool’s Day ended like a week ago, right?

Yes, April Fool’s Day ended a week ago and Shadowlands was a good expansion. Better than DF.

Walsingham, the first step to recovery is acceptance. We all struggle sometimes, but you must admit it to yourself.

Well, if by best you mean I don’t have to log in for borrowed power chores, it indeed is good  and I can also focus on endgame, no real need to do rep grinds unless I do profs (which I don’t).

Ok you are clearly trolling

So you’re saying it is better than BfA and Shadowlands. Umnn, ok.

If only BfA didn’t have that focus-group brainstorm idea, though …

I disliked overall shadowlands as well. And I consider DF a decent expansion and in the right direction. But pvp gear progression in DF is so bad, that players stopped playing it. At least in shadowlands with convenants+ legendaries+ gear progression, we had a sense of character progression. You still felt powerful. Now in DF, my all time invested character feels like a fresh 70. Its so dumb i stopped playing.

I dont call a sense of character progression when you have to get a vacation to finally play your character in the way you want to play.

I get the feeling this whole thread is bait and troll. Its all subjective as to which expansion was the best.

How do know if u havent played any of them

Sl was boring af with absurd plot and no content for months
Bfa was only fun during EP but borrowed power and 999999 things to grind on every char ruined it,wont even mention stupid plot which(again) was horde bad bs

And about df i wouldnt call it good, just less crap then sl and bfa which is still step in good direction i guess

Gameplay wise DF is better than the last 2 expansions . Some tier sets , easier pvp gear , some professions and overall easier to enjoy .

Story wise this expansion so far is the worst ever made . It is worse than even WoD , which had it’s story cut , rendered and meshed together in a short completely messed up version .
Only hope for for DF story is that it is just ramping up and we will something interesting , because right now all I see is nothing . It is like the story of a mobile game than explains why you need to pop those colored bubbles .

Also I don’t like how the dungeons are . A rush fest from one side to the next . You need to do clock run (Mythic +) for any relevant gear and frankly I see no reason to step in one ever .

Not me logging in everyday to fish in pandaria, spend all my gold on transmog, and collecting Easter eggs :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I don’t even have DF.

Actually I think shadowbringers is the best expansion tho endwalker was also good, maybe not as good as heavensward but still really good.

It is far from the best. They didn’t implement borrowed power and gave us nothing in return to fill that gap. The level of lore is pretty much the same as SL. Bland, dull boring and all the other synonyms. This whole elemental threat is none excisting. There hasn’t been a single day where i logged in and actually felt like that was the danger. Accidently dismounting mid flight is the only threat i’ve experienced so far.

One of the things Wrath did so well was to keep the threat of the Lich King going troughout the expansion. SL tried this with the Jailer but that character was too vague and perhaps a poor attempt at writing a mysterious character in the hopes of us players going “Ooh i wonder what his deal is” and for a while we did without ever getting an answer… seriously, what was this guy’s plan?

Sure, it is alt friendly but for what reason? Queue times are long. There is nothing going on in the open world that is worth while. None of the little content there is, is worthwhile to do again on an alt.

The rewards for renown are some recipes, a mount or two, a pet and some of the most hideous transmogs i have ever seen.

The reworked profession system is still the old one with additional complications. The point system is basically a borrowed power system in disguise. This was one of the selling points that in my opinion failed hard. Only a few players managed to get the benefit of making a profit and a few of those players only achieved it because they used the bug at the start of the expansion with no reprocussions.

Dragon riding is great but should not have been a thing at the start. We have large zones with nothing in it and everyone is just flying over it. The appeal of WoW is the world itself. Sure, i can just use a ground mount but the zones are not designed for that kind of travel and are like i said empty.

The idea to not have borrowed power should have been compensated with better lore, slower levelling and interesting characters and zones. They should have made the experience of levelling more enjoyable and not a rush to end game.

They did the classic servers and watched their popularity, i imagine that the experience is something Blizzard would have learned from but alas…they did not.

How exactly is DF different from last 3 expansions except of fact there is less to do outside of instnaced content?

It’s different because I like it

I don’t really have any supporting arguments.

I just like it, whereas I didn’t really enjoy the previous 3 expansions.

wow just missing the last thing to make it the buckles.
Among other things ,
Artifacts like in RIFT where you could find artifacts around and collect them for different things.
And the many things that were constantly happening around their world.
Shame that game died so fast but it was because they made raids way too hard and everyone gave up

And a bit from ESO, like public dungeons (as a bit of pastime)

But again probably not easy and do all those things as it will go beyond wow lore.
I just think the problem is that if you don’t raid and do m+, then there is actually nothing to do in wow. and it is especially bad here in DF.
