You could build your own village/town. That would be amazing!
There were quite a few Overwatch-themed Lego sets a while back, so the company has experience working with Blizzard. If they made some sets for WoW, I would definitely buy them.
I thought adults buying lego sets to built themselves was a meme
I remember getting one of those for my Christmas a few years back, me and the missus spent all Christmas building it. It even had a mechanism that let you open and close the wings.
Best Christmas ever.
Adults playing WOW are the same type of adults that buy Lego sets.
We are playing video game for casual fun as hobby and figurines/lego would fall on that category as hobby or casual fun aswell, nothing wrong with either. Some ideas on this thread I would like to also see made into set even just to honor wow, the game that Ive played past 20 years. Half my life so it holds meaning for me and many
How about a Lego Teldrassil?? Those lego flames look pretty good
Lego’s actually probably getting most of their earnings from afols (acronym for: adult fan of Lego).
Too soon ™
Not at all. I enjoy the creativity of it.
I’ve built a bookshop, a Disney castle and am half-way through building a Japanese cherry blossom garden. Having a rest from it at the moment as something’s gone wrong and I hate the thought of having to undo bits of it.
I find it extremely therapeutic and enjoy the sense of accomplishment from completing a big one.
The TIE interceptor I got recently came with a couple of kids sets free that I build.
Felt nothing from doing them.
If you’re only thinking of LEGO in the sense of kids sets, that’s probably why you don’t get it.
Growing up, most normal sized kids sets had a few hundred pieces.
I’m building an ATAT with almost 7000 and an xwing with 2000
These are not for kids
Some undead architecture, Surumar, Booty Bay,…
Just to look though, while I would still love to build sets (Recently I was fawning over: Ayrton Senna’s Mclaren MP4/4) the prices are just too steep for something that would at best end up in a cabinet.
I thought ending up in Sweden we’d get a neighbour discount… but nah the Danes are still cranky or something and the sets cost more than in my home country.
Well Sweden is weird like that, ordered something this week: At Amazon SE the product was more expensive than ordering from Amazon DE and that included the shipping and Euro conversion.
I loved lego as a kid, but even then i understood why people would buy some set with an exact instruction manual of how to built it. For me lego is best for buying an assortment of random bricks and then built what you want.
If i want to buy something to built with an instruction manual then some ikea dressoir would be better and more useful. Ikea basicly is adult lego
I dont agree with you on everything but this comment were golden, but I would rather have set of Stranglethorn Vale to build for fun than build another shelve
