WoW Level 20 F2P Battle Royale

I’d suggest Level 20 F2P Battle Royale game mode in which you start of with level 20 power level skills and power level and just fight it off like any other battle royale, without someone entering overgeared and destroing everybody else…
I’d love this because I have a lot of more younger friends who dont wanna pay a wow sub and they love battle royales and I really want a way to play with them.
This way a large barrier of entry would be skipped, leveling and gearing and make it will bring new people in an already aging playerbase.

What do you guys think of the idea? Whould blizz implement it?

I can’t imagine anything worse myself. I get that some don’t like a sub based game but there is always the option to grind gold and buy tokens on AH to play.

Well it wouldn’t affect you in any way. Its just an addition to wow. Also I know, cant stand it myself, but most people nowdays cant stand subs when they pay like 20 different other games. Also you need to pay the initial sub and then grind its not like you can grind before you can get the sub…

Nah, F2p Needs to go up to 60.

Just make every old expansion fully free.

THere’s enoough restrictions allready on trials. Arnt they capped to BFA right anywy trials never unlock chromy?

In case you weren’t aware everything up to the previous expansion is included in the sub.

So you get Classic (all of it) and everything up to and including Shadowlands for just paying a month’s sub.

Thats not f2p.

Sub at most should give access to classic and unlimited the restrictions implied by starter accounts.

SWTOR does it does way afaik and its not an issue there.

in ESO u pay 12 euro a month u get accses to all dlc/xpack even the newst one
in GW2 u pay just for Xpac/dlcs but no sub
in FF14 u pay only sub …
in NW u pay only 40 euro u have accses to everythig ( prity ofthen on 50% sale off so u can get it for 20 euro )

In FF14 have trial to Heavensward. It doesnt go beyond that. You have to purchase latet expansion to get access to stormblood, shadowbrings and endwalker. Thats alot more content then WOW brings to lvl 20 trials since they are currently tied to BFA

That game does not include the mess off a level system we have on wow. Its all liniear.

You go through MSQ for each expansion, from start to finnish.

At no point have I said it is free to play. This is why I said:-

I’m saying for one month you can get access to a huge chunk of the game.

That is pretty good for anyone wanting to try it without investing in the latest expansion.

So you can try the free trial, if that is enough to interest you but you are unsure if you want to invest in an expansion then you can buy a month’s sub. If that sells it then you can consider buying the latest expansion.

Final Fantasy only extend that offer to new accounts. Existing accounts have to sub to get access even to the older parts of the game.

It’s an odd decisions and I have no idea why they do it.

Why? You are enforced to buy 2 months of subs. Not one month.
