Hello

i know this has been posted a million times. like this thread WoW on Linux
But as the guy in the thread stated is that he wants to run linux but battle.net and wow is not as easy to get running. i know there is Proton and stuff like that.

But lets be frank Linux and MacOS runs both the linux kernel, tho MacOS has modified theres. so it should not be super hard to make a native linux client.
Windows marketshare is around 73%.

Microsoft is going to intreduce a new “feature” Microsoft Recall i do not want windows to spy on me. Even tho its storing it localy and there is a toggle for it now becouse the Windows Update EULA is written the way it is Microsoft can change this like disabling the button or turning it on again or begin storing the data on there servers.

so lets Pray the the wow devs make a native linux client. :smiley: i would switch in a hearthbeat.

I got WoW on my Steam Deck [Steam OS is Linux], playing my Remix character (literally zero addons) during the downtime at work in the late night. :+1:

WoW runs on Linux just fine.
It’s the battle.net launcher that has issues.

If they could sort out the Bnet launcher issues on Linux, id drop Windows like a hot potato
